This sweet holiday villa is located close to the pretty fishing harbour of Pomos on the island’s unspoiled north-western coast and has beautiful views of the sea and inland over the countryside.

The harbour is within easy walking distance and it is fun to go there early in the morning to greet the plethora of boats as they return and sell some of their catch which will taste great on the barbecue later. 

This holiday villas is light, bright and stylish with a beautiful wooden balustrade on the outside and a wooden staircase and bedroom floors inside. Situated in large private garden with a grassed area around the swimming pool. 

Last but not least, the villa is close enough to the sea for guests to be lulled to sleep by the waves!

*Family group bookings accepted only.  Group bookings for guests under the age of 20 years not accepted.

I rarely say that an accommodation is much better in real life then in pictures. This is entirely true for the Happy Trails Pomos Panoramic Villa. The view from the hilltop is majestic, having the pool in front of the house is really the jewel of this villa. The house has all the amenities you would need, I think all the previous guest leave something in plus and make accommodation even better for the next guests. Charla has been a wonderful host, she answered all our questions and requests, a huge watermelon and two bottles of wine awaited us in the kitchen when we arrived. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and I would be very happy to return here with my family.

The Villa comprises 2 bedrooms in total; 1 double, 1 twin and 1 cots, 1 of the bedrooms with en-suite facilities. This gives room for up to 5 people. Bed linen and towels are provided for your use.  Beach towels are not provided.  

Leading off from the living area you will find the double bedroom and main bathroom of which boasts spectacular views of the pool area. The villa has 2 en-suite bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Upstairs, you are lead to the twin bedroom with an en-suite shower & w/c large veranda to exult in the truly magnificent views.

Area Information/Places of Interest:
The community of Pomos finds itself 60 kilometers of the northeasterly city of Paphos, in the geographic region of Tillyria.  The village is built next to the sea, in medium altitude of 10 meters. Roughly two and a half kilometers in the south-eastern side of the village the altitude reaches the 600 meters (locality Hill Top), and also in a distance of roughly 5 kilometers of southerly-eastern Pomos, very near to its administrative limits, Lorovounos is found, at an altitude of 670 meters.

The village of Pomos accepts a medium annual rainfall of around 440 millimeters of water and in its region they are cultivated citrus fruits, bananas, almond trees, avocado, walnut trees, olive trees, few vegetables and pistachio-nuts. In the region exist many uncultivated areas that are covered by natural vegetation such as pines and thyme. The southern side of the village is included in the government owned forest of Paphos.

As far as transportation is concerned, the village of Pomos is found next to the coastal street of Polis-Xeros. Via the street, the village of Pomos is connected in the northeastern side with the village Pachiammos (5 Km) and in the southwestern side with the village New Dimmata (5 km) and via this village with the village Polis (20 km). In the north side of the village in a distance of 2 kilometers the Cape of Pomos is found, that took its name from the village. The way from the village of Polis up to Pomos, as it is known, is considered to be the most graphic way in Cyprus.

Paphos (or Pafos) is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns of Cyprus. Wherever one treads in Paphos he comes across its glorious history which dates back thousands of years, when the cult of goddess Aphrodite who emerged from its seas, flourished in this beautiful part of the world attracting many visitors from the island and abroad.

Today Paphos is a small harbour town, but in Hellenistic and Roman times it was the capital of Cyprus. Still under the spell of her Beauty-Goddess, the area retaining her magic, has remained impact by time. Paphos seduces its visitor with its majestic landscape, lovely coastline, historical treasures and delightful villages where tradition is still a way of life.

The legacy from its remarkable history adds up to nothing less than an open museum, so much so that UNESCO simply added the whole town its world Cultural Heritage List. Among the treasures unearthed, are the remarkable mosaics in the Houses of Dionyssos, Theseus and Aion, beautifully preserved after 16 centuries under the soil. Then there are the mysterious vaults and caves, the Tombs of the Kings, the ancient Odeon Theatre and other places of interest including the various Museums.

Security Deposit

Guests will be required to pay a security deposit of between 200.00 to 500.00 EUR upon arrival, according to the villa or apartment classification booked.  This security deposit is to cover any costs due to any damage(s) by yourself or any member of your party.  If no deductions are required, a full refund will be made upon departure from the property.  Should the security deposit not be sufficient to cover any damage(s) or service charges incurred by yourself and/or your party, you will be responsible for the extra payment immediately and upon request by the owner's representative.





Important Information

Maximum occupancy: No persons above maximum occupancy are permitted. In the case where the Maximum occupancy rule is not adhered to, the management reserves the right to demand immediate evacuation of all tenants.
 
Maid Service: Maid service is once a week (prior to guests’arrival and during their stay considering the duration is 7 nights or over. Bed linen and bath towels are also changed once a week). It is advisable for guests to bring their own beach towels as these are not provided by the villa management. Even though washing machines are present in the villa, personal laundry can be arranged at an extra charge through the villa management.
 
Air-Condition: Air-conditioning is an optional extra and is payable locally for the whole duration of stay at the villa. The units must only be used while guests are in the property, with all windows and doors kept closed. Under no circumstances must the units be left on continuously while the property is unoccupied.
 
Swimming Pools: Most villas enjoy private swimming pools. Please take great care by the pool area if under the influence of alcohol, accidents may and sometimes do occur. We recommend that you do not dive into the swimming pool. Children must be supervised in the swimming pool area. Please note that umbrellas are not provided since all villas have covered areas.
 
Pool Heating (where available): Must be requested at time of booking. This is an additional charge per week and will be payable in resort to the management company representative.
 
Accomodation: The accommodation can only be occupied by those persons included in the reservation at the time of booking.  If additional people are found to be in occupation, the supplier may terminate the contract immediately and require all occupants to leave. No refund shall be due in these circumstances.
 
Photographs: Photographs are intended to give an overall impression of individual Villas or Resorts. The Management does not accept any responsibility for items of furniture etc, which appear in photographs but may have been changed or removed, nor for any changes to aspects which may have changed since photographs were taken.
 
Building Works: Any building work which may commence in the local area is outside of our control and we can not be held responsible for any resulting disturbance. However, should we become aware of any building work which may be considered to adversely affect the enjoyment of your holiday we will notify you as soon as possible and whenever possible offer you the opportunity to transfer you to an alternative villas at the same price.
 
Safety Boxes: Some villas offer Safety Boxes. Should you wish to use this facility, a refundable deposit is required, which will be refunded to you upon your departure. 
 
Check-in & Check-out: Access to the villas can be after 14.00hrs on the day of your arrival. The villa must be vacated during the morning of the day of departure to enable cleaning and preparation to be completed prior to the arrival of new guests. This is normally at 10:00 am. Should you require late check out, kindly inform us beforehand. Provided that it is possible, an extra charge will apply for departure after 10.00 hrs and by latest 16.00 hrs. From 16.00 hrs onwards the charge for a full extra day will apply.
