I don’t think it’s possible to praise this resort enough! It’s excellent in every way.
It is peaceful and relaxing, luxurious without being ostentatious, and runs with a quiet efficiency that is seen but not heard. It is spacious, spotless and well maintained.
I loved it all! From the reception, to the housekeeping services, to the chefs and waiting staff to the room service: class, politeness and service-forward, friendly manners. I cannot praise Coral Bay and its staff enough!

I would like to share my recent experience with your hotel, which left me profoundly dissatisfied and disappointed.
When I called on a Sunday to make a binding reservation over the phone or via email, I was told to call back on Monday instead. This delay risked the hotel’s availability changing, yet the staff member insisted I wait, which gave me the impression that they were simply avoiding responsibility. This felt highly unprofessional, especially considering I was ready to pay immediately.
After I applied pressure, became understandably upset, and raised my voice, my contact details were suddenly taken, and I received a payment link the next day. That alone already left a bitter taste.
Upon arrival at your hotel, I saw many staff members walking around, but no one seemed to take ownership of any issue or request. Every question was met with refusal, and every wish was turned down. I’ve never experienced anything like it in a five-star hotel. It affects you – mentally and emotionally – when you realize that you’re not in a place of hospitality and care, but in a business that merely calls itself a wellness hotel.
The level of service I received was unacceptable, especially for the price I paid.
Every staff member I complained to asked for my room number. Why? And then? Nobody from the management came and asked what’s up.
This organization is a company not a wellness hotel.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at this hotel. From start to finish it’s been wonderful, the room was great, cleaned daily and coffee etc topped up daily. We stayed all inclusive for ease of just an absolute relax and recharge. Whist sometimes this can mean bland food and not much choice but we found the opposite. Whilst there was a main Buffet which was different every night and you were also able to dine in the other 5 restaurants which were great dining experiences.
The facilities were great and the pool and sunbathing areas were also well kept and well serviced.
The staff however were the best part about the place, so friendly and couldn’t help you enough. Special shout out to Nikos who served us every day in the pool bar. He was an absolute gent and made us feel like nothing was a problem.

We enjoyed the nice view from our room which was fairly comfortable. The hotel is very large and has a good indoor pool and jacuzzi area, albeit open at quite restrictive times. Otherwise it does not live up to 5 stars standard, I would give it between 3 and 4 stars. What stood out negatively was the amount of rude staff, especially at breakfast, and the strangely laid out buildings which make for long walks to the room, through long and poorly signposted corridors. It did not help that the main elevator was broken throughout our stay. All in all, if you can reserve a room for a discounted price I would recommend, otherwise rather not.

We stayed at this hotel recently and unfortunately experienced a stomach virus that affected both me and my partner — and, based on several recent online reviews, we were not the only ones. This strongly suggests a possible hygiene or viral outbreak issue on-site.
While the hotel itself has lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere, we were disappointed by the way hygiene and guest health concerns were handled. After falling ill, we had to ask multiple times for our sheets to be changed, and when housekeeping finally arrived, they only changed one side of the bed. It left us with the uncomfortable impression that proper disinfection protocols were not being followed thoroughly, especially considering how contagious stomach viruses can be.
In addition, we observed some concerning behavior from management toward their staff, including rudeness and an overall dismissive tone. It didn’t reflect well on the hotel’s culture or care for either guests or employees.
This could be a wonderful place to stay — and the location is beautiful — but we strongly urge the hotel to review its hygiene standards and staff training, especially in light of the recent illnesses reported.
PS: the hotel is saying the symptoms are mild, resolving in 24-36 hours -
Not true. We are still ill after 4 days of symptoms. We expended 800€ on hospital bills, plus medications. They are also saying the cases ceased, again not true as we just came back home from hotel today, which was the day we were fit to fly.
