The Dome Beach Hotel & Resort is ideally situated on the golden sands of Nissi Bay, on Makronissos Beach, west of Ayia Napa, in a quiet setting, set amid well landscaped, gardens.
It is rested between a peninsula of 19 rock-cut archaeological tombs dated back to 1872, directly on two superb bays & natural golden fine sandy beaches.
Combining a high quality of service with warm, friendly Cypriot hospitality, the hotel is well suited to holidaymakers of all ages and is most popular with families, due to the wide range of sports and entertainment on offer. The nearest shops and taverns are a short 600-meter stroll from the hotel. This impressive hotel offers a choice of accommodation with standard rooms and various suite types with spacious interiors offering all necessary amenities for an enjoyable stay.
The hotel offers a relaxing, comfortable, fun-packed, unique, luxury and "happiness included" complete beach holiday. On the hotel premises, one may also find a luxurious Spa & wellness centre as well as a Kids Club and a separate pool for families with a mini Waterpark for children.
There is a seating area in certain rooms where one may unwind. With a view of the sea or pool, enjoy a cup of tea. Every room has its own bathroom. There is a flat-screen TV in the room.
The resort has a front desk that is open 24 hours a day. There is a private beach area at this resort, and bike and car rentals are offered.

The Dome Beach resort is at a fantastic location. We reached the day the hotel had just opened for the season(1st April), so the start was a bit slow as they were still working on getting everything ready.
Good stuff:
- Location
- Wonderful and friendly staff
- Great pools for those not keen on sea swimming
- Good facilities but some were not yet open
- Rooms cleaned everyday
- Lots of places around the resort to chill and relax by the beach.
- Good meal options when buffet started.
- Bus stop is only 10 mins walk and buses come every 20mins.
Not-so-good stuff
- AC was turned on only after some persuasion as the plan was to start it later. But we had amazing weather that week(25-29degrees)
- A la carte menu for first 3 days
- The pillows were not very comfy.
- Not all bars were open
- gym was open only from 10-6pm

Review of Dome Beach Resort, Ayia Napa:
Positives:
1. The beach at Dome Beach Resort is unparalleled – with its golden sands and clear waters, it's ideal for swimming, free of any pebbles or stones. The cleanliness and safety, especially for children, are commendable.
2. The staff here are the epitome of hospitality, always wearing welcoming smiles and genuinely interested in ensuring guests have a pleasant stay.
3. While the initial à la carte menu during the early days of the season was hit and miss, the transition to the buffet was seamless, offering a variety of delicious options.
Negatives:
1. The operating hours of the gym and spa, from 10 am to 6 pm, may not suit early risers or night owls, limiting access for some guests.
2. Although understandable during the gradual opening period, the initial issues with air conditioning, while resolved by day three, were an inconvenience.
3. The lack of entertainment during the early stages of April could disappoint guests seeking evening activities, though this may change as the resort fully opens up.

We stayed here towards the end of last year, and after staying in Cyprus for many years, this was the worst hotel we’ve stayed at. Firstly it’s quite far from town, and 10 minutes walk to a bus stop. That was the best bit. Our rooms were appalling, worn and dirty. The public areas, disgusting and filthy. To see a cleaner was rare. Staff were in short supply, and not enjoying their job. Food was awful, cheap and cold. Clothes went missing from our room, and we were given filthy looks by any staff, due to our complaints. Jet2 couldn’t move us to another hotel, as there was no availability. We did get compensation when we returned home. Jet2 need to send someone to visit this awful place, see exactly what they are selling to unsuspecting people. My advice, avoid it like the plague. Ps. The beach is nice.. apart from the plastic and litter not cleaned up from the numerous weddings they hold.

Horrible food. We found the food to be quite repetitive and sickly and ended up eating out so the all inclusive was a waste. However the hotel is in a great location and some of the staff were friendly. The staff members who checked us in was quite rude and put us in the wrong room, once we had already unpacked asked us very rudely that we had to leave the room immediately. We loved the Japanese restaurant in the hotel. Pool was freezing cold. For the price we paid we thought it wasn’t worth it.

I've not long returned home from a week's stay here. I'd like to start off with the fact that this place claims to be 4 star but I'd definitely say its not. The food was repetitive and I found sometimes some if the meat was a little under cooked at times. For the entire week my toddler pretty much ate chips from the buffet. He would not entertain much more. The drinks were served in plastic cups rather than glasses. The chairs outside of the restaurant were always covered in bird poo too. The hotel itself was quite dated and you can tell maintenance doesn't happen often as the place was falling apart. I found the cleaners rushed their jobs and sat on their phone for most parts. My room was not cleaned properly every single time. The bed was made, bins emptied and the floor was swept everytime but there was so much cleaning missed in between! Sink and toilet were cleaned ONCE while I was there. The bath was not cleaned and for some reason they didn't even go on my balcony to clean that as it was constantly not being swept! The cleanliness and safety of most parts of the hotel were shocking. Broken lights are all over the hotel which my toddler could have easily cut himself on. The animation team was absolutely rubbish. 2 girls dancing on an evening to the same songs. During the day the kids club was rubbish. The room was messy, all the games were missing pieces and the girl in there barely interactsd with the children. Both girls on the animation team seemed more interested in their phones. The only amazing thing about the hotel is its in a great location and the staff couldn't do more for you! The girl that worked on the pool bar was amazing. She was so friendly! Overall the hotel was not worth the price I paid and I would only go back if the hotel had a full revamp!
