A very beautiful hotel make extra special by its staff. I would like to name a few who make this place great.
Elena, Raju, Xenia, Yogesh, Anna Maria, Suman and rest. Old school hospitality, taking time to speak to guest and looking after them. Am sure it's lead by a very good team who have invested in training.
Staff is what makes this place great. My kudos to all involved.
Some tips for future visitors, pls book the speciality restaurant moment you land or may be before you arrive. They do get full very quickly. Raju looked after us and explained the menu like a pro in Asian restaurant.
Elena and Xenia did her best to get us a table in Italian alas it was fully booked.
Chef Yogesh recommended some very tasty dishes in the buffet.
Book your sunbeds, it's done on a system which ensured what you want and no rush to get them in morning.
Ordering food and drinks is very smooth, app, QR codes make it super easy and to your table or sunbeds.
Main bar serves on a terrace with some amazing views.
Matt took us for a walk to old church and along with Vlad was Entertainment Boss.

Me and my partner booked this hotel to celebrate our 30th birthdays. This was my first time in Cyprus. This hotel was recommended to me by a good friend. The hotel was just as good as my friend stated.
Upon arrival we were greeted at the desk and given a complimentary drink on arrival which was a nice touch. We had a limited sea view side room which was fine. The beds were soooo comfy! The room was a decent size and I was happy with the cleanliness of our room during our stay.
The food at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The breakfast choice is outstanding, there is so much to choose from and all of the food tasted really good.
The Garibaldi restaurant was absolutely amazing and so was the Seven Orchids Asian Restaurant. I would definitely recommend booking these two restaurants as soon as you can.
We had the dinner buffet twice (Mexican Night and Cyprus Night) and the food was very nice at both nights. The Cyprus Night was so fun with the dancing entertainment. If you are there definitely go to the Cyprus Night buffet and get there at a reasonable time (so you can get a seat to watch the dancing).
Excellent choice of food at breakfast and you get coffee included I.e filtered coffee, iced lattes, lattes etc and then you can get water and juice from the buffet. You can also order omelettes, eggs Benedict and poached eggs on toast.
I love the pool and infinity swim up bar. The pool is a decent size and the sunbed allocation system is absolutely amazing - you can relax and not have to worry about finding a sunbed every morning.
The staff were all so welcoming and nice at the hotel.
We had some lovely drinks outside on the veranda overlooking the sea. I love that they bring you some olives, nuts and rice crackers when you order the drinks at the bar inside/on the veranda. Such a nice touch and the snacks are tasty!
My partner proposed to me in Paphos whilst we were on our trip and he arranged a bottle of champagne and rose petals for the room and the guest services were very accommodating and helpful with this.
Location of the hotel is great - took us about 10 mins to walk to the harbour. Not far from the airport either. The sunsets are AMAZING from this hotel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, it is worth the money you pay for and I definitely hope to be back at some point!
Fantastic hotel, exceeded my expectations. Staff are so lovely. Excellent location. I love how they allocate sunbeds so there isn't sunbed war. Food was great and fresh. Jorden was so helpful and made you feel more than just a guest.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous five days at this hotel. Wonderful environment, great location, stunning view, tasty and varied food, and if I could give the staff 6 stars, I would!
I highly recommend this hotel. The weather has been a little chilly (end February) and I wish I’d brought a jacket, but we’ve had blue skies and sunshine every day, and when there’s no wind it’s been warm enough to sunbathe. In summer we can see it would be much more lively here, with lots of beach vibe bars, restaurants and coffee spots to enjoy nearby.
At the hotel, be sure to book ahead to have a meal at the Garibaldi fine dining restaurant - a real treat, but it books up at least four days in advance. It was complimentary as part of our half-board deal. The whole team were fabulous, but we had a standout experience with the breakfast and dinner team: Jordan, Xenia, Lotti and Daniel.
A couple of tips: you can get the airport bus 612 to the hotel for just 2 euros each BUT they are infrequent and can be very busy. A taxi, by comparison is €35-€45 one way. Or car hire is very reasonable, but it can be tricky to understand the real cost because a lot of online brokers hide the substantial fees for reducing the high XS and deposit. We went back to the airport to arrange to hire a car after a couple of days to understand the real costs better, and Hertz told us they would have delivered to the hotel for free. Maybe others do, too? The island would be very tricky to explore without a car because of the long waits between buses…
Re the hotel room, the bed was comfy and super king size, the cleaning was a very good standard, and the room had all the expected basics, plus a turndown service. We were in room 159 above the bar. It was surprisingly quiet all day, but we could hear the piano playing every evening until about 10-10.30pm. Not a problem as we don’t go to bed before that, but not ideal for early nighters. Also, be mindful that more than half of the deluxe full sea view rooms have their balconies at an angle rather than full width of the room as many of the photos show. Not a biggy, but better to know in advance.
If you’re thinking of booking, do it. Our stay was a lovely, relaxing experience and we felt really looked after. Thank you, Team ATGBH!

Mr. Bogdan performs his duties with great care and professionalism. He always appears at the perfect moment, quickly and discreetly clearing the plates so guests can fully enjoy their meals. He is polite, friendly, and very professional, which creates a pleasant dining atmosphere.
He takes excellent care of cleanliness and order in the restaurant, and it is clear that he works with dedication and respect for guests. His positive attitude truly makes a difference.
Thanks to him, staying at the Alexander the Great Beach Hotel in Cyprus is even more comfortable and enjoyable.
