We absolutely adored our stay at Castelli Hotel. It had such a warm friendly feel and nothing was too much trouble. Joanna was incredible with me being gluten free and spoke me through the food daily and at each mealtime. She really was a star and made me feel incredibly safe and at ease. The rest of the staff were lovely and from the moment you stepped through the door they were there to help. The food was lovely and such a good variety and decent quality. The entertainment was great. Pool was lovely and sunbeds were really decent quality. It was such a lovely relaxing holiday !

A great place to stay if you're looking for friendly hotel where you can chill out, or use as a base to explore the island. The buffet was very good, the rooms are clean, and well maintained, and the staff could not do enough for us. The evening entertainment was great too.

We stayed at Castelli Hotel for four days and three nights and absolutely loved our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family. We even had the pleasure of meeting the founder, who gave us true “grandfather vibes,” and his daughter, who now runs the hotel with the same warmth and care.
Our swim-up suite was wonderful, and the hotel itself is beautifully decorated with a lovely dining area and a stunning pool. The dining options were fantastic, with a wide variety and plenty of vegetarian choices. The service was consistently outstanding—special thanks to Irene, Eleni, Iona, Despina, and our waiter Happy for making every meal so enjoyable.
The team went above and beyond for a milestone birthday, surprising us with thoughtful gifts and personal touches like tote bags and handkerchiefs. They also helped us book excursions and even arranged a complimentary room for our late departure, which we greatly appreciated.
Overall, Castelli Hotel exceeded our expectations with its genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and welcoming atmosphere. We would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Zakynthos!
My partner and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel. From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully arranged, especially the complimentary transfers, which were seamless and perfectly timed, taking all the stress out of our travel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel right at home. A special highlight was getting the chance to meet the owner; it was such a pleasure to have a genuine, warm conversation that made our stay feel even more personal. The hotel’s location was ideal, central, vibrant, and above all, safe. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon because of all the good reviews. The breakfast is okay. Lunch and dinner change every day, which is nice, and the food is very tasty. The staff is very friendly. However, the cocktails, beers and wine that are included don’t taste very good.
We had a standard room located next to the main road, and at night we could hear drunk young people passing by. There was also a large group of young people staying in the rooms, making a lot of noise.
An upgrade to one of the rooms with a private pool would have been nice — we would have been happy to pay extra for it.
They say they are green, but most hotels I’ve been to, for example, have a service where towels left on the floor are replaced, but towels that are hung up don’t need to be changed. I would recommend that.
Zakynthos is a beautiful island. I visited it also 9 years ago, and unfortunately, it has become much more touristy since then.
