Information
Truly a small and friendly hotel, family operated by the second generation of the founders.
Value for money hotel, service attendance is exceptional, clean and well-kept with special attention to detail that can make all the difference at ones’ holiday. The Tasmaria is situated in a quiet area of Paphos, around the main tourism area. Lying on the “Tomb of the Kings”, the History and Culture of the resort are all either within walking distance or a bus ride away, as is the nearest beach, 550 metres away.
It's location offers the advantage of being away from the busy Harbour, yet close enough to walk to or even take the bus, as it is only 1.5km away.

This hotel can completely ruin your impression of Paphos. The staff do not communicate very professionally. The condition of the furniture is poor. There is constant noise coming through the windows, making it impossible to sleep. I do not recommend it.
It was impossible to sleep in the room because the windows had huge gaps, and we heard everything on the road all night and morning. In the morning, repair work also started. The furniture in the room is old, the shower is dirty, and there is an extra charge for the air conditioning. I do not recommend this place!!!

The location is the only great thing in this hotel. The staff was very nervous and behaved like we are some kind of not nice
foreigners. Only the cleaning ladies were kind to us! The rooms were very dirty. The pool was also very dirty. There was a construction site next to the hotel. We begged the staff to change rooms, even though they had free rooms they refused to move us for no reason. AND for 100£ a night we expect to have at least an air conditioner but we had to pay extra ( I’ve been to dozen of 5 star hotels and the air conditioner is given to us with no extra tax). AAND the safe is also paid extra which is very funny, like if you want more money just tell me I’ll donate! The hotel owner must think before giving prices for everything( I’m glad that at least the air we were breathing was not taxed)! Do not go there if you want to have a nice and comfort holiday! Thank you for reading!

I liked the high exaggerated pictures that they submitted in booking.com, that none of them are true in real life.
• I Will start with the hotel manager:-
1. He did not welcome us nicely.
2. Very bad attitude to the customers.
3. Angry and aggressive if you disagree with him.
You have to pay extra for the air conditioning
Which I have never experienced something like this in all my life.
The sink in the bathroom is clogged
Very slow drain.
There is no lift in the building.
You have to carry your luggage with the stairs.
There are no staff to help us with that.
The bed is too hard like a rock.
My husband is with back pain after going back home.
The swimming pool is very dirty.
It's my first and last time ever in Tasmaria.
Most importantly is to feel at least welcomed as tourists.
We were attacked actually from the hotel manager.

AWFUL experience! Avoid this place… we arrived as a large group (had 3 rooms between us) one of the rooms air con did not work and was awfully hot, so we kindly asked the hotel manager who pretty much shouted at us and was SO miserable to come and check and fix it.. he finally then fixed after stating it was fine and we was probably just “hot” but after him going to check the other rooms where they was working he finally agreed it was broke! After finally agreeing it was broke he offered us a small crappy fan for the night whilst it got fixed but said we should pay for the fan still! What absolute nonsense! This should have been free considering the air con was not working! He was very rude and dismissive. We also had another issue where he bluntly said none of us could extend the rooms we had for another few hours even though they advertised that you could do this! (I had a 5 month old baby with me I needed to sterilise her bottles etc) he made it very very difficult till in the end we ended up complaining to Jet2…
Please avoid this place! He is rude and many other reviews on here state this! Wish I would have checked them before booking!
