The location was great - close to the airport an easy to get around. The breakfast was very good and the bed and pillows were really comfortable.
The bathroom facilities need some renovation. Also, the housekeeping could be improved because the rubbish in our room wasn’t taken out for three days.

I stayed in this hotel with my dad for a 4 night trip to Cyprus to take in a Conference League football match against AEK Larnaca. We are not the fussiest people so it was absolutely fine for us, and an ideal location for everything football related. The meeting point for the buses to the game was less than a 10 minute walk. This is the McKenzie beach location. In the opposite direction it is a 15 minute walk directly along the waterfront to the Meeting Pub which is where the football fans are encouraged to go. This is where the intercity buses leave from so nice and easy to get anywhere on the island.
This hotel has more of a hostel feel about it, so for anyone thinking they are getting a hotel experience I would reframe your expectations.
I didn’t mind my stay here at all, such a reasonable price so I didn’t feel ripped off at all. Cyprus is such a lovely place, that we spent very little time in the hotel. The Dons didn’t get beat and we had a great time exploring. Only stay here if you are happy with a hostel style experience, otherwise you will just hate it. We saw many people complaining at reception with what are probably very valid concerns. Staff weren’t really able to do anything to help and to be quite honest, they really didn’t look that bothered. If you are keen on being looked after, forget it. If you just need a place to sleep, it does the job. I imagine there are other similar budget places with a better experience.

Not a 5-start hotel at all but excellent for the price. I had no issues at all and enjoyed my stay immensely. The staff were extremely helpful, the location is excellent, the room bed etc were all acceptable, no toiletries but that's a very minor thing. The pool was great breakfast too. I will strongly consider staying here again.

🚫 BED BUGS, FILTHY CONDITIONS & RUDE MANAGER DANNY – WORST HOTEL EVER 🚫
This was by far the worst and most disgusting hotel experience my family and I have ever had.
On the second night, we discovered bed bugs crawling on our bed. It was horrifying and completely unacceptable. We immediately went to the reception in the middle of the night, but the staff only said, “We can change your bedsheets.” — with zero concern or professionalism.
After we insisted repeatedly, they finally moved us to another room, but it was just as filthy and outdated, with a strong damp smell, stained walls, and worn-out fixtures. The door wouldn’t close or lock properly which did not feel safe at all.
The next morning, we met with the manager, Danny, expecting at least an apology or explanation. Instead, he showed no professionalism, no empathy, and no responsibility at all. He didn’t apologize, didn’t offer any refund or solution, and only said they had “reported it to an external company.” That was it — no follow-up, no accountability. His attitude was arrogant, defensive, and completely dismissive.
The towels were dirty and smelled awful, the bathroom fixtures were rusted, lift doesn’t work properly and everything in the hotel looked old, unkept, and unhygienic. Every day there was drilling and construction noise in the corridors, making it impossible to relax.
To make things even worse, when we were getting ready to check out, a female staff member came and started rushing us to leave the room, speaking in a very impatient tone — as if we were the problem after all we had been through. It was the final insult after an already terrible stay.
This place is unsanitary, unsafe, and completely mismanaged. The staff are untrained, and manager Danny clearly has no understanding of hospitality or basic respect for guests.
⚠️ Avoid this hotel at all costs.
It’s infested, filthy, and run by arrogant staff who don’t care about your health or comfort. Easily one of the most disgusting and frustrating stays imaginable.

Very disappointing stay. My family and I spent several days here and were really let down.
The entire hotel badly needs renovation — everything looks old and worn out. In our room there was literally a trail of ants across the floor. The room had no kettle, no power adapter, no basic amenities at all, just an old fridge that barely cooled.
Housekeeping is poor — the room was not properly clean. The bathroom is outdated, fixtures are worn, and everything feels neglected.
Every day there was some kind of work going on in the corridor — cables being laid, drilling, noise — definitely not relaxing or holiday-friendly.
The pool is in bad condition as well, looking run-down and poorly maintained.
Overall, the hotel feels tired and poorly kept, operating on inertia. It’s a shame because the location is convenient, but the service and condition don’t justify staying here even for a budget trip.
