I booked a triple room at San Remo Hotel for 4 nights via Booking.com ($300 without breakfast), just a week before departure, leaving little time to check reviews. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience we've had in a hotel.
Aside from the breakfast and the location (relatively close to the airport), everything else was disappointing. The room was small for three beds, old and had a persistent smell of dampness. At night, sleeping was very difficult, especially for light sleepers, due to extremely thin walls. We could hear conversations, movements, and door slamming from other guests both in nearby rooms and the hallway (which was also quite dirty) all through the night.
Despite booking for three, we initially found towels for only one person. The receptionist did provide more when asked. The beds were inconsistent—some had sheets, others didn’t—and were visibly worn out.
On the third night, I asked to move to a quieter room. We were relocated just four rooms away. It was better—the room had a TV and a coffee maker, which the first room lacked—but noise remained an issue.
Receptionists were polite but appeared demotivated and lethargic. It seems the hotel owner invests very minimally in both maintenance and staffing, which is unacceptable.
I do not recommend this hotel.

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! All the staff were incredibly lovely, kind, and always willing to help, which made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was newly renovated, clean, and very comfortable – I especially loved the modern shower!
The location was perfect: walking distance to shops and everything I needed, and very close to the airport. The whole place had a warm and friendly atmosphere that really made a difference. I would definitely stay here again!

One of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had.
Stayed on May 15, 2025. I was moved between five different rooms, each with serious issues:
Mold and damp stains on the ceiling
Dust and construction debris on the balcony
Active renovations happening while I was inside
No toilet paper, no hairdryer
All rooms were old, dirty, and poorly maintained
The entire check-in process wasted over an hour and a half of my trip. I sent multiple emails to the hotel – they completely ignored me. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.

Near the airport and not far from the sea either. Rooms are bare with minimal, old furniture and lighting. The l beds aren’t terrible however the place itself isn’t very clean - we had two layovers there, one week apart, and the balconies showed garbage and brown stains that hadn’t been cleaned or cleared out.
The service was fine and both times the receptionists ordered us taxis which arrived swiftly.
The mini-bar smelled awful and the water in the sink tasted strange (while brushing teeth).
The place is cheap and very cheap is what you get
We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The room looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com – it was a completely different reality. As soon as we walked in, there was a strong smell of dampness that never went away. There was no TV in the room, which was not mentioned anywhere. The fridge was dirty, smelled awful, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The bathroom was in a terrible condition – the toilets were dirty, the bathtubs were very old, and the lighting throughout the room was outdated and depressing. Overall, it felt neglected and far below even basic standards. Would not recommend at all.

Dining
From casual diving at the poolside to formal dining in the restaurant, the menu offers a variety of Cypriot and Continental cuisine, with regular "Theme Nights" serving traditional Cypriot dishes and entertaining group dances accompanied by live music. The restaurant is situated on the ground floor next to the reception desk. It is small and very informal, like the rest of the hotel.
Cafe Evita Cocktail Bar, adjoining the pool deck is a perfect place to meet with friends or business associates for a cocktail or drink.
