Google Traveller Rating
We are a Turkish family from Germany and enjoyed here our final holidays of 2024 in September. We finished the summer in South Cyprus and can say that it was the right decision. Protaras is wonderful and this hotel is very good for a 3 star hotel! The view of the balcony is perfect! Many English guests and friendly staff! I liked the karaoke nights and the nice music of the DJ! I highly recommend this hotel.
Only the many young polish guests were very annoying in the night. The hotel director should please take care of these disturbingly loud guests. And the swimming pool looked not so clean and safe, we didn't enter. But the beaches are one of the best of the Mediterranean!

Not sure who wrote the description of the hotel but it certainly needs to be reviewed.
Firstly we booked this hotel with no high expectations but expected the basics.
ROOM - Basic, tv, hairdryer, shower over bath.
Filthy, yellow stained grout around bath, nylon shower curtain, stained stinking floor matt. Bedding consisted of bottom sheet, duvet with no cover and a top sheet (4 times requested to be changed, day 10 and still not been done)
Towels were average.
Toilet cistern not attached to loo.
Room not mopped or swept last 10 days.
We only had blue cleaner down the loo.
RESTAURANT- We are half board but came with no intention of eating in the evenings. Toast in the morning was all we wanted. 1 day I asked the assistant for some bread and she answered abruptly "WHAT". after 2 min discussion about what I needed her colleagues got the bread.
The same happened today but got a tut and roll of the eyes.
RECEPTION - rude! Not helpful
POOL - Needs tiles, light hanging off inside the pool which could potentially be dangerous, especially after 3 weeks ago someone was electrocuted by a loose cable.
No lifeguard, again after a young kid drowning 3 week ago and is still in hospital this is dangerous.
Staff are sitting around the terrace on their own holiday drinking and smoking. This is the same in the evenings.
In a whole I would like tosee this hotel closed on the basis it does not meet H & S or customer service standards.
Like I said no high expectations but the basics of customer service, H&S and cleanliness should be a must in any hospitality.
Location excellent.
Just spent a week here. A very interesting experience. The pool is lovely, just wish I had seen the pool bar open more than once but not really an issue considering the outside bar is literally metres away. spend many happy hours around it too.
All the hotel staff were absolutely amazing. From reception, definitely made a friend with one of them 💜
And loved the entertainment girl. Her music choice was on point 😊
Some of the bad points, be fearful of elevator, They're both very temperamental and I wouldn't advise going any more than two people at a time in them. Became a funny talking point when you met someone in the left or if you've seen two other people in it 😅
Very mixed feelings about the whole experience but I wouldn't say it was a bad one. Just don't expect it to be five star and modern. It is a little rundown in places but a fantastic spot to be for a week.

It is a lovely hotel with a fabulous location. If a little more could be done to update and modernise the accommodation, then this could easily pass as a 4 star. Would I return? Yes!
Food is good and the all-inclusive drinks are very good. The pool is great. A 2 minute walk will take you to the centre of Protaras.
The air conditioning is ice cold.
My tip is to bring an extension lead as the rooms only had one plug socket.

Just came back from a weeks stay with my husband wasn’t expecting the Ritz and went with the knowledge it was just starting to get up and running due to being closed for years.
We stayed all inclusive and I went thinking we would be eating out all the time well we were pleasantly surprised the food was very good plenty to choose from the only time we came across cold food was when we went down for breakfast at just after 7am the beans and bacon was cold I think they rely on the hot plates to warm them through, so if you went down later as we had done the food was nice and warm lunch and dinner time a waitress is supposed to come and takes your drinks order but most of the time we had to either call a waitress over to take our order or we eat our food without a drink this could do with improving. Desserts are nice especially the cheesecake but you are left to cut the cakes yourself with only one cake slicer for all cakes so can get very messy would be better if the cake is already sliced and a slicer per cake but overhaul we were very happy with the food.
A good selection of cocktails at the bar I would say much better than the ones I had out on the strip and the beer was also very good, it is such a shame it’s plastic cups even on the terrace and at night
The room … iv been to plenty of basic rooms which is fine but as long as they are clean as soon as I walked in and seen pubic hair on the sink and floor in our bathroom it instantly felt dirty the plug hole in the sink was jammed. We did go straight back to reception to see if there was another room available which we did have a look at on the fourth floor and that was just as bad. In fact there was dirty footprints over the bathroom floor.
We also had trouble getting the safe set up but I got to say as soon as reception had been notified they are on it straight away.
Spare pillows are in the wardrobe but not sure how clean they are as we got one out and it looked like mascara on it we left it out on the floor with our towels and both got changed, the cleaning staff don’t make the beds up you have a sheet and a thin quilt whilst making my bed I turned the quilt over and discovered a period stain which I informed and showed the cleaners at 8 am in the morning and they didn’t get changed until very late in the afternoon I was going to report to reception, if it wasn’t changed by the time we got back from the beach So overall the cleanliness of the room really lets the place down the room is tired and does need a renovation but that does not excuse the cleanliness and I feel the room is not deep cleaned from one person to the Next and putting a little bit of blue Lou down the toilet doesn’t make the toilet clean also the sheet covering the mattress is so thin you can see the mattress through it i felt the it wasn’t very hygienic. Beds are very comfortable.
Pool are is lovely all new loungers but don’t choose one near the bin as it stinks I’m sure it needs a thorough clean not just a change of black bag
Pool toilets aren’t the best again cleanliness
No toilets in reception to use on the evening you got to go down to the basement, which is quite a way you just as well go up to your room
Location fantastic use the steps also a slope for buggys and wheelchairs really good access but on the evening it’s not always lit up which can be very dangerous, you can find the steps out by the pool takes you basically out on the strip if you cross the road and go down a slight hill you’re on the beach which takes about 7 minutes and I would say it’s about a good 20 minute walk to fig tree beach, but definitely worth it.
A lot of negatives, I know ,it’s such a shame that I wouldn’t return back to this hotel as it has got a lot of good points to but due to the cleanliness of the rooms I wouldn’t return but I always felt the restaurant was clean
