I had a very unpleasant and humiliating experience at this hotel. Upon check-in, the staff clearly told me that my reservation included half board instead of only breakfast. They issued all the documents accordingly. I even asked three times to make sure there wasn’t a mistake, and each time they confirmed that dinner was included.
The next evening, when I went to the restaurant, they didn’t say anything at the entrance and let me in as normal. However, in the middle of my dinner, several staff members came to my table and told me I had to pay for the meal. I calmly asked them to let me finish eating and said I would bring the documents from my room right after. Instead, they came back four times, and eventually escorted me to the reception like I had done something wrong.
At the reception, I was treated like a liar. They claimed I had “rushed in for dinner” without giving the staff a chance to say it wasn’t included — which was simply not true. Even after I showed them all the proof, no one apologized. I was the one left feeling humiliated because of their mistake.
On top of this, the room smelled awful every day due to kitchen pipes, and the pool towels were dirty. The staff were unfriendly and rude from the beginning.
I absolutely do not recommend staying at this hotel. They do not respect their guests, they make their mistakes your problem, and they humiliate you instead of taking responsibility. I have never felt so disrespected in any hotel.

We stayed there for 5 days with friends.
The condition of the rooms was terrible, as you can see in the photos. Maybe they have some rooms in better shape, but if you’re not lucky, it’s very easy to end up in one of the creepy, run-down ones.
The breakfast was poor and exactly the same every single day.
Dinner was “acceptable,” but absolutely not good quality.
The only positive part was the cleaning — the rooms were cleaned properly and the cleaners were very friendly.
The reception service was a disaster, no matter which receptionist you dealt with.
The hotel’s location is the only real advantage.
This was my 8th time in Ayia Napa, and I’ve stayed in several hotels before — but Cristofinia is on a completely different (and much worse) level. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Some things were good, others disappointing. When we arrived, we were given a basement-like room behind the gym, next to the staff entrance, even though we had paid for 7 nights in a room with a balcony and partial sea view. The room was stuffy, windows opened to the staff parking area where people smoked, and the smell came inside. The next morning, after insisting at reception, we finally got the room we had booked. On the positive side, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Waiters don’t speak English, so you need to talk to the head waiters.

I stayed at Hotel Christofinia in Ayia Napa, Cyprus between 19–26 August 2025 and had a very pleasant experience.
This is a well-maintained 4-star hotel, clean and nicely arranged. We booked half board (breakfast + dinner), which turned out to be a good choice. The breakfast is the same every day, but the dinner menu changes daily, and the food is generally good to very good.
The rooms are tidy, with cleanliness well taken care of. The hotel has a nice swimming pool with sunbeds, and towels are provided based on a card you receive at the reception. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Location-wise, the hotel is slightly on the outskirts of Ayia Napa, but very close to the famous Nissi Beach. Also nearby are Landa Beach and Makronissos Beach, both worth visiting. There are also bus stops close to the hotel, making it easy to move around the area.
Overall, I would say this hotel offers a very good value for money, and I definitely recommend it for a relaxing stay in Ayia Napa.
The hotel is unfairly rated 4 stars. The value for money is generally good, but it is clear from the entire staff that there is no desire to provide service. Every smallest request is received with discomfort by the hotel staff. The level of maintenance of the rooms is reasonable and requires significant improvement. The location is good, quiet, ample parking, reasonable breakfast plus. The expectation was slightly higher due to the 4-star rating, but overall good value for money.
