Average hotel with nice balcony (pool view) - strange welcoming at reception and weird behaviour from cleaners shouting at me, banging my door & calling my phone/banging the door many times and trying to provoke a reaction. I felt scared and management was slow to resolve anything.
Not worth it in my opinion to pay for this.
Interior design needs major improvement / the bathroom ceiling actually pushes up and it is not comforting as a woman. The single land view room wasn’t the best but thankfully asked for an upgrade & room was better but if you are a light sleeper this is not for you.

I've been here 1 week and last night here entertainment awful no interaction with audience sat behind a door with music centre , no way is this hotel 4☆ I paid more for half board then fully inclusive as my hotel got switched 3 timed. Originally paid for 5☆ so blame holiday company. Pool is great only ever felt welcomed by 2 staff .if you want a base it's okay . Website needs to be more transparent
To include all fees
WiFi €24 for 2 devices per room (you can't switch) a week (god help if you have kids)
Remote control €5 deposit but they can't tell you what channels you can view
If you lose your wristband €2
Just to name a few
You can't access vending machine after 6pm so stock up at local supermarket as there is a fridge in the rooms which is a positive
I arrived 1am night reception was great but had to take luggage to my room myself. If a 4☆ expect help .Day staff uninterested- all I got was " this is coming from our bosses if you raise a concern. Not a hotel I will choose yo return too as they really need to take on board customer reviews. I was travelling on my own no support whatsoever

You get what you pay for. Its a 3 star hotel, all inclusive. The food is fine and long as you are used to eating normal food. Salads, stews, vegetables, fish. So beef goulash, fish in vegetable sauce. But they also have themed nights. Italian, Mexican. They just don't cater for small children. No chicken nuggets, burgers or pizza every day. We found something to eat every time we went in, there wasn't a single night when we really couldn't eat anything.
The hotel itself is spotless, in need of refurbishment but extremely clean. We found the staff very helpful.
This was a cheap and cheerful family holiday and was fine for a week.

I'm currently staying here and it's amazing, no complaints here. Our room was spotless and the staff were very friendly to us and very helpful. There was a wide variety of food for every meal. I really enjoyed my stay at the ascos and will definitely be returning again soon. 😃

Typical 3 star hotel. Staff a bit grumpy. Normally very happy in other hotels. Breakfast is the same everyday. Evening dinner is good lots of meats to chose from. Hotel needs a refurbishment. Old stained carpets in the corridors.

Area Information / Places of Interest
Paphos is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns in Cyprus. Wherever one treads in Paphos he comes across its glorious history which dates back thousands of years, when the cult of goddess Aphrodite who emerged from its seas, flourished in this beautiful part of the world attracting many visitors from the island and abroad.
Today Paphos is a small harbour town, but in Hellenistic and Roman times it was the capital of Cyprus. Still under the spell of her Beauty-Goddess, the area retaining her magic, has remained impacted by time. Paphos seduces its visitor with its majestic landscape, lovely coastline, historical treasures and delightful villages where tradition is still a way of life.
The legacy from its remarkable history adds up to nothing less than an open museum, so much so that UNESCO simply added the whole town to its World Cultural Heritage List. Among the treasures unearthed, are the remarkable mosaics in the Houses of Dionyssos, Theseus and Aion, beautifully preserved after 16 centuries under the soil. Then there are the mysterious vaults and caves, the Tombs of the Kings, the ancient Odeon Theatre and other places of interest including the various Museums.
