Great family hotel. The hotel room is really basic but the pool is really good. The food is good, I think everyone can find something nice.

We really enjoyed our week at this hotel. Was nervous as it’s only 3* but really liked it. The food is fairly good. We always found something we liked and what is there is cooked nicely if a touch limited in choice. The pool is excellent. The evening entertainment is hit and miss. The two nights where there were entertainers hired in were good. We do prefer a bit of variety though. The staff members especially Nadia and her colleague(didn’t catch her name) in the kids club and mini disco were really lovely. Loved the location and bussed to coral bay and Paphos easily on very frequent and inexpensive busses a short walk from the hotel. The sunsets are gorgeous, only wished the pool bar stayed open so we didn’t have to walk up to the other while we watched the sunset. All in all great value for money. WiFi is free and is excellent. We would definitely come back.
The worst experience we ever had.
We knew we didn’t book a 5* hotel, and the only thing we were expecting was a clean room. The conditions were inhumane and inhospitable.
The 3002 room that was assigned to us (ground floor) was smelly due to mold or humidity. There were insects in the room, specifically on the curtains, at the bedroom door and behind the beds.
It was around 1:30AM and we called reception immediately but no one picked up the phone, so we went there in person to ask for a room change. There was no one there apart from Mr. Nikos who was not a receptionist and Nikolas who was working at the bar. Mr. Nikos said the receptionist was ill and left and that there is nothing they could do at this time. I explained that we travelled from Nicosia to Paphos for 1 night and that we wouldn’t stay in a room with insects walking on our faces while we are sleeping. He eventually managed to persuade the receptionist over the phone to changed our room, after she insisted they the hotel was fully booked (at the end of March!?). We told them we would come and sleep at the lobby of the hotel until the next morning or they would give us a full refund immediately for us to leave. A “miracle” happened and another room became available, where we eventually stayed - also very smelly, but luckily without insects.
The two gentlemen tried their best to help us and apologised many times.
We will never be coming to this hotel 1) because the room was full of insects and 2) because of the treatment we received. There was no one on duty and we had to argue for more than have an hour as to why we needed a room change, over the phone with the receptionist. Simply unbelievable.

The worst experience i've ever had. We've stayed there only for 1 night, but memories are still alive
Check-in: Rude and incompetent receptionist, the process took us ~ 1h.
Rooms: very old and smelly
Bar: overprice for drinks in plastic glasses and drunk barmans

This was a last-minute break for myself, and I did not investigate the accommodation in any great detail, however I landed on my feet. The room was excellent with air conditioning, which was necessary given the heat. We were on an all-inclusive package, and the food was plentiful and varied, and they appeared to cater for all tastes. The bar service was excellent and free, of course. This was my first visit to Paphos in a decade and I found myself in an area I was unsure of and which was a fair distance from the harbour area of the city, however given I had no need to leave the accommodation this was not much of an issue. In all, I had a great break lying around the very large pool, which allowed the sun to shine on you to around 7pm at night.

Area Information/Places of Interest
Paphos is one of the most beautiful and ancient towns in Cyprus. Wherever one treads in Paphos he comes across its glorious history which dates back thousands of years, when the cult of goddess Aphrodite who emerged from its seas, flourished in this beautiful part of the world attracting many visitors from the island and abroad.
Today Paphos is a small harbour town, but in Hellenistic and Roman times it was the capital of Cyprus. Still under the spell of her Beauty-Goddess, the area retaining her magic, has remained impacted by time. Paphos seduces its visitor with its majestic landscape, lovely coastline, historical treasures and delightful villages where tradition is still a way of life.
The legacy from its remarkable history adds up to nothing less than an open museum, so much so that UNESCO simply added the whole town to its World Cultural Heritage List. Among the treasures unearthed, are the remarkable mosaics in the Houses of Dionyssos, Theseus and Aion, beautifully preserved after 16 centuries under the soil. Then there are the mysterious vaults and caves, the Tombs of the Kings, the ancient Odeon Theatre and other places of interest including the various Museums.
