DO NOT STAY HERE! - Stealing (on rooms) - Cockroaches (on the flat) - Food poisoning We spent 5 nights here, and it was the worst vacation ever. Every day there was a new issue. - Headphones worth 400€ were STOLEN from the flat after the cleaning service went there, and they even tried to claim that nobody went there that day (the beds were made when we came back and we had new towels). No empathy showed, and no responsibility either from them. - Cockroaches every single day, and no matter how many we killed, there was always more coming. Even after the staff went there to spray them. - We were relocated to other rooms 2x and put back in the same cockroach infested flat again, claiming they needed the rooms when in fact the others went to be empty after our stay there. - Had food poisoning from the food, spent one day puking because of it. - No official complaint book, besides being mandatory in the European Union! Positives: - The restaurant/bar staff was nice, polite and attentive. Overall, a terrible experience, to not return ever.

Oh dear, such a shame that our first few days were not ideal. Lots of issues with our room in the Harbour "suite" section of the resort. 1. Balcony doors and bedroom windows did not have a working lock. 2. Could not get safe access until the following day. 3. Bathroom very dirty. Mould around sealant, pink bacteria staining on tiles, missing covers to showe rail, dirty stained shower curtain. 4. TV remote did not work. 5. Air conditioning not turned on. Was told it would be on the next day. Asked to move to another room and was declined. Very little sleep that night as it was around 2.00 a.m before we could settle down in an unlocked apartment with valuables unsecured! Jet2 rep did all she could. All the above rectified. 1. After 2 days locks were replaced. 2. Safe accessed the next day. 3. Bathroom cleaned the next day, still dirty, had to get the cleaners back and show them where to clean. 4. TV remote not fixed so new TV put in next day. 5. Air conditioning not on the next day, on request they gave us a fan. Air con switched on day 3, did not work in living area, this was fixed on day 4. Furniture old and worn. Disappointed that it was clear that nobody had checked that the room was fit for purpose before we arrived. Had they done so this review would be much more positive. Rooms cleaned daily but floors still dirty, clearly not using clean water for each room despite my leaving a request to mop the floors as they were dirty. The whole resort generally tired looking and could do with some investment but not too bad and at the price is to be expected. Pool was OK and clean, one set of steps broken but other than that it was pleasant. Pool beds available for the first 10 days then it filled up and even by 8.45a.m there were no beds left, not unusual, but there was plenty of room for more beds. The resort had no more beds in storage when we asked, this despite there being a huge pile of bed cushions stored near by, they need to invest in more beds. I would guess about 50 beds available in total, not sure how many rooms. Location excellent. Used car hire company close by got what we paid for! Will pay more next time. Staff at the resort are friendly and helpful. Lots of nice bars and restaurants near by. Lots to explore and see and everyone makes you feel welcome. I would recommend the area, even this resort if you are prepared for a few hiccups. I would advise the resort owners to invest in a freshen up of the whole area and to check rooms before releasing them for use, then it would be highly recommended.

Well equipped appartement, very clean with many facilities and local Cypriot entertainment. Reception was very helpful. Basilica is situated closely to the harbour at walking distance from the Wave Dancer and other maritime entertainment vessels. Oppositie is a very lange supermarkt. The busstops of at least 5 bus likes within 100 meters walk. Seaview rooms available. You must be able to deal with traffic noise.

We were quite shocked on arrival as we were ushered to a dismal block of flats ajasant to the main hotel. The "superior" apartment was quite small with a table and chairs for the living area and a tiny kitchen area, barely big enough to prepare food. We were initially given a room overlooking a busy road and regular wheel spinning cars. The manager was lovely and relocated us the next morning to the back of the flats overlooking the old ruins which was much nicer. The positives were the lovely staff and the clean rooms. The cleaner was super active. The pool seemed OK but unfortunately it was too cold in march. The location is in easy walking distance to the sea and bars and there is a good bus service, but we hired a car to see the island.

If you're hoping for a lie-in during your stay, think again! On our first morning, we were awakened at 7 AM by construction work directly beneath our room, where they were drilling into the roof. When we called the reception, they paused the noise until 9 AM, as that was management's policy. After discussing our concerns with the reception staff, they assured us that work would not start early. However, the next day, we were disturbed by noise at 6:30 AM, but thankfully, we had planned an early activity. The following morning, we were again woken at 7 AM by a leaf blower right outside our room. While the hotel is affordable and features spacious rooms with English plug sockets and a full kitchen, it's in a good location with a supermarket across the street and several restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, it seems that guest comfort is not a priority for management.
