I stayed at this hotel at the end of May 2024 with my partner for three days. Even before our stay, communication with the hotel via email was a struggle. When we arrived at 9 a.m., no one greeted us at the entrance. The check-in process was long and exhausting, with the reception staff making us stand around for ages. On the bright side, they let us into the room a few hours early, which was appreciated.
The breakfast and pool staff were absolutely wonderful, but the same cannot be said about the reception and management, who were completely absent. Our room wasn’t cleaned until after 3 p.m., they gave us the wrong key, and no one took responsibility for anything.
Half-board is not worth it—the hotel restaurants are slow, overpriced, and underwhelming. Despite leaving feedback with the hotel, six months later, no one has responded. A real shame!

We had the most amazing trip to the Almyra hotel in Paphos with our 3 kids last October.
You could not ask for anything more from a hotel. The staff were all so helpful and so warm and friendly and every one of them went out of their way to do their job in a thorough way from the reception staff, to the waitresses, to the pool attendants, to the cleaner (we have never had our room cleaned so nicely in any hotel before). The double buggy we hired did not work properly and no one could open it and the reception lady took the trouble to come up to our room and show us how to open it. The food was excellent and the kids club is outstanding, run in the most professional manner we have ever seen for a hotel kids club. Well done Almyra - you have created the perfect family hotel and we are definitely coming back! Thank you for everything!

I got married here in October 2024 on the spa terrace and honestly it was BEAUTIFUL. Raminta in the hotel helped co-ordinate everything from me and from my first meeting with her to the last she was so insanely helpful. I didn't feel I needed a wedding planner with her assistance. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurants are lovely, reasonably priced and the breakfasts are amazing - so much choice. I would recommend staying here or getting married. The hotel itself sits on the waterfront so the views are stunning. Honestly this place will forever hold a special place in my heart!

I was about to leave the perfect review. The hotel, room, location is perfect. And the words in my head were - if you wanted an ice cream from the moon, they go try and get it for you. But here came the issue of coffee. As I am a coffee person I need to have it in the mornings. First, they forget to top it up in the room, tried to address twise - no response. When did, brought me more decaf when I asked for normal. Second, at breakfast time they bring you your drink. As I been at breakfast at different times. It’s not busy, but I had to wait 20 min for my cup of coffee which many times came out cold. One time I had to leave, still not had that coffee, asked staff to cancel that order, the lady became a bit snooty with me. I know it’s a small issue, but just doesn’t have to be an issue. The rest is great 😊

Extremely recommended! The room is big, very clean, and in a great location (if you're looking for a quiet place).
The most important thing is how friendly the hosts were. It's a family business run by the nicest husband and wife, and their children are also helping and very nice. They really go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Definitely, I'm hoping to find the time to go back there
