Daphne Hotel Apts is a class A hotel apartment.
The Apts are ideally situated in the center of the tourist are of Paphos and it is surrounded by all you need for a perfect vacation for the whole family. The Apts are so close to the harbor and castle with its restaurants, the archaeological park, the shops, bars, taverns and a big supermarket just a few minutes walk.

Great location. One street back from sea front in the centre of Paphos seafront . Some very good Restaurants nearby . The Daphne has a small pool but good for a drip in the heat. The hotel is very basic and dated. The rooms and beds are clean. There is a small car park. The 5 star is for value for money and location.

Perfect location. Everything you need is walking distance (restaurants, water sports, some nice landmarks, supermarket, mall, many different beaches) The staff is nice and the amenities are great if you want to cook, relax on the balcony and chill by the pool. Two things I didn't appreciate much, unfortunately, were breakfast (it is mostly eggs and pork, the coffee is not good and the cereal either) and the fact that there is a pub across the street with live music that makes it impossible to sleep at night.

Good location, private parking, great night concierge service very friendly lady.
Confortable beds, strong shower, toilet flushing not very efficient, very hot room, air conditioning not working well at all!!
Nice pool, partial sea view.
Very loud on Thursdays to Saturday until 1am,due to pub immediately across the road. (great live music though)
3 stars because of air-conditioning (or lack of) and late night disturbance.
BTW, sheets and towels only changed like every 5 days or something.

The rooms are very old and ugly. The lights in the rooms are very weak and don't provide normal brightness. When we just moved in, the bedsheets hadn't been changed since the last guests were there. And also there were huge cockroaches roaming around our room. And these are called apartments, so there needs to be atleast some kitchenware, but the only thing that is there is a single coffee cup even smaller than for Turkish coffee. And even if you stay here, don't go to the pool. The water stinks like it has been here for months unchanged. And a piece of white fabric dipped into the water for 5 minutes turns green. Overall I don't recommend you to stay here, if it is possible, you can have the San Remo Hotel in Larnaca. You can even read my review about it on Google maps. And believe me, San Remo is much, much better. Stay there, not here, and get the most out of your money.

There are so many mixed reviews of this place that I want to give a fair and balanced view of mine and my family's stay at Daphne. The staff are incredibly helpful and genuinely can't do enough for you, Lucy was great with our kids and made us feel very welcome. The bar and dining area within the hotel is nice and during happy hour (6-8 each evening) cocktails are only €2. The pool area is decent and we felt comfortable lounging by the pool and the kids loved it. The rooms are dated but just about everything worked and we slept well each night. The room was cleaned well each day. On a couple of occasions there was a drainage smell emanating from the bathroom which was unpleasant but soon passed. The biggest frustration was how intermittent the Wi-Fi was. To sum up, Daphe represents good value for money, the location is excellent and the staff are very helpful. Don't expect luxury but it's a good base for a cheap and cheerful holiday and as a family who spend most of our time out exploring, we will be back.
