Skarinou traditional houses consists of traditional stone built houses recently renovated in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Cyprus in a historic neighbourhood. The local traditional architecture of the houses is unique. Each apartment is different having its own special character and identity. The traditional court yards of each house is a peaceful place to rest, enjoy, sunbathe or to read a book.

Last week, I stayed for a full week at "Aphrodite's Pool Retreat" with my gf. We where very pleased with our stay, and in hindsight are a bit amazed by how crazy cheap it was offered. We received clear instructions via (Booking) message and could retrieve our key from a key safe box. The premises consist of multiple 'old style' houses/appartements that are somehow melted together, placed arround an inner garden area with pool. Our appartement consisted of 2 levels, which each had it's own double bed, toilet/shower and a single attached kitchen area. On top of the kitchen was a terrace with seats, as well as on the ground level. Everything in the appartement is very basic, but functional and clean. The windows have net curtains and wooden shutters on the outside, which you'll need to close if you want the appartment to be dark and have full privacy. It was still a bit to cold to use the swimming pool, but we could if we wanted. We saw it being cleaned every day. We came by car, which we could easilly park on a public parking place 2 min walking below. Only once, in the evening, we could not park our car as their was some activity going on in the community center. But still then, you can easilly park you car somewhere lower. We found the location of the appartement pretty ideal, with a car. There's a big supermarket nearby and you are on the highway within a few minutes. If you don't have a car, this is not a place for you. Speaking of the highway, you'll hear it in the distance. So if you want a completely silent place, this is not a place for you either.

We found the place nicely refurbished, quiet, nice pool to relax, the location it’s perfect if you hire a car because it’s in the middle to everywhere in the island. The woman in charge of the place give us nice tips to where to go and very friendly and helpful.
We recommend this place to anyone who would like to relax. If you arrive at night be aware it’s self check in so you have to find the entry up the slope beside the Orthodox Church. Enjoy your future vacations in Cyprus 🇨🇾 💯✌🏻

The apartments and the location are very beautiful. There is seating area and balconies where one can sit and relax, eat and drink. The pool view is great too. It is definitely recommended for larger groups too.

Popped over to this place for a night after a wedding near by! Lovely relaxing atmosphere ! With a lot of traditional Cypriot village character ! Very basic! Basic clean ! Basic service . Beds are comfortable ! Sheets are clean but old! Bathroom very old and not in good working order! Could do with a renovation!

do not stay here, shower broken, no off street parking, smells like damp, all hills don't take luggage. pool was dirty. no smoke alarm. does not look like photos.

The house offers 4 one-bedroom apartments, 3 studios and 1 family room. It provides an amazing inner yard with lemon and other fruit trees which forward their shadows for book reading.
Cosmas House
It is located at the center of the village, a few meters away from the “Panayia Odigitria” church. It has 3 studios, 1 luxury studio and 1 family apartment. The traditional internal stone made yard is offered for relaxation and sunbathing. Every apartment has a private area in the yard furnished with wooden chairs and tables and it is connected with the swimming pool area.
Michalis House
This house offers 1 luxury studio, 1 one-bedroom apartment and 1 two-bedroom apartment. The traditional inner yard offers a private veranda area for each apartment to enjoy the majestic view. The yard is connected to the swimming pool area. Michalis House is an ideal choice for families of 5 and above persons who wish to have privacy at their vacations as it is also offered as a traditional package house.
Lito House
It offers 1 studio,1 luxury studio and 2 one-bedroom apartments. Its location makes it ideal for visitors who appreciate privacy, quietness and want to enjoy a relaxing,traditional and authentic holiday in the heart of Cyprus. Like all the appartments, it also shares a swimming pool.
Anesi House
Anesi is a character stone-built house located in the centre of the traditional village Skarinou. It accommodates 4 apartments, all elegantly decorated and fully furnished on a modern note. All units are positioned around the stone courtyard and on one side of the yard is the swimming pool, with a spectacular view to the village.

Right at the heart of Cyprus, 190 meters above sea level and surrounded by hills, lies the picturesque village of Skarinou.
