Mixed Feelings: Great Rooms, but Overpriced for High Season I recently stayed at this hotel during the peak season in Paphos. While there were certainly highlights, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the premium "high season" price tag. If you can find a deal during the quieter months, it’s a solid choice, but at full price, it feels a bit lacking. The highlight of the stay was definitely the room. It was spacious, clean, and very well-equipped. We had plenty of room to move around, and the amenities provided made the living space feel high-quality and comfortable. Spa & Fitness Facilities This was the most disappointing part of the stay. For a hotel at this level, the facilities were underwhelming: The Gym: Very basic and not particularly well-equipped for anyone looking for a serious workout. The Spa/Pool: There is only one jacuzzi, and it has a frustrating "feature"—you have to get out and press a button every 4 minutes to keep the bubbles going. It makes it very hard to actually relax. Breakfast: A standard hotel spread. It’s perfectly fine and "okay," but it doesn't offer anything particularly unique or standout compared to other hotels in this category. Dinner: The quality was inconsistent. Some nights the food was delicious; other nights it was quite mediocre and lacked flavor. A Note on Drinks: Be aware that no beverages are included with dinner. You have to pay extra for everything, including plain water, which felt a bit "nickel-and-diming" given the high room rate we already paid. If you are visiting Paphos during the calmer months and find a lower price, this hotel is a decent, comfortable option. However, I wouldn't recommend it at peak season prices, as the service and facilities (especially the spa and gym) don't match the luxury cost.

For its price not a bad choice at all. The impression when entering is one of faded glory. So all conclusions below on the need for renovations are accurate. Still, paying €60 for a stay with breakfast, right at the beach, was comparatively cheap. An extremely wide breakfast buffet is a positive surprise, the absence of fresh juices is a missed opportunity. The pedestrian walkway along the shore is a great way to visit Paphos harbour (1 hour going)

I stayed here for 4 nights together with my father, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. We paid 560 euros for the stay, which is a very high price for this time of the year, and we expected a clean, comfortable and professional hotel. What we received was the opposite. On the morning of the 9th, we discovered bedbugs in our room. Not only live ones, but also dead ones under the bed. We had already been itching for days but assumed it was mosquitoes. Only when we lifted the mattress did we see the real problem. This is something that should never happen in a hotel, especially at this price. When we went to reception, the staff member was rude and unhelpful. At first she refused to move us to another room and only changed her mind after we made it clear that we would not sleep there again. Afterwards they sent the head of housekeeping who arrived with a spray that is not intended for bedbugs, and nobody seemed to know how to handle the situation. All our clothes had already touched the bed, and we asked for a proper treatment and washing. At first they refused completely. Only after we insisted many times, they took the clothes for drying on high heat, but they were returned unwashed and unsorted, even though we asked for washing clearly. They didn’t offer any real solution for our personal items that were exposed to the infestation. We lost the entire morning dealing with this instead of enjoying our day, and we moved to a new room while still worrying about our belongings. The whole experience was uncomfortable, stressful and simply unacceptable. I am attaching photos and a video of what we found. This hotel needs to seriously improve cleanliness, professionalism and how they handle situations like this.

Instead, we found bed bugs in our room, both alive and dead, and the entire situation was handled very poorly by the hotel staff. When we reported it to the reception, the attitude we received was disrespectful and unprofessional. At first they refused to move us to another room, even though the situation was serious. Only after insisting again and again did they finally agree to give us a new room. The head of housekeeping came, but she also did not know how to handle the problem properly. We asked them to treat and wash all our clothes, since everything we had touched the bed. At first they refused, and only after we insisted did they take the clothes to a dryer on high heat, but they did not wash them and they returned them in a messy condition. All this caused unnecessary stress and wasted a lot of time. On top of that, we were bitten and suffered from itching and discomfort. This hotel needs to seriously improve cleanliness, professionalism and how they handle situations like this.

Writing this on our first day. I saw so many terrible reviews on here before and was absolutely terrified that we were walking into some sort of nightmare. On the contrary; this hotel is in no way how some of these reviews make it seem. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it is nice, clean, good breakfast, comfy room and in a great location. In some ways reading the reviews helped as it exceeded our expectations! We are staying for 11 nights. Including flights, hotel and breakfast I would say we are absolutely delighted with the standard especially after we paid so little. It is a bargain! If you are coming here and planning on being out and about most of the time, or are planning to be out by the pool and enjoy the beach (a stones throw away, literally! And a beautiful sandy spot) then this is a great place to stay! We are in a standard room with no balcony and we are facing a ‘construction site’ as others have said - actually the hotel they are building opposite is very nearly finished. You can hear them working, but it is not unbearable. Even if they were not there; you would hear cars, people in balcony’s etc as it is a busy hotel with many people about. Don’t let it frighten you off. We really are delighted with the place. It has a mini market inside too and sells everything you could think of if you forget anything. And LIDL a couple minutes walk away. If you are a traveller who is used to very high standards of 5 star hotels, then you will likely notice the wear and tear of the place, however, if you’re not someone who tends to splash out on accommodation then you will be pleasantly surprised with what you get for the price. Also, I know it’s only been a day, but we have had nothing but nice interactions with the staff; we arrived very late and without asking they gave us details of places we could get food from nearby, told us everything we needed to know and gave us useful information to help us on our way. We don’t expect to be treated like kings, and if you respect the staff (as you ought to) then they will in turn respect you. They are not less than us, and we have had some wonderful interactions with the staff here. Book this place - we are right by the construction work and it’s not that bad, and hasn’t started as early as some have claimed. It’s not affecting our sleep! The breakfast is plentiful and vast variety, the mini supermarket is a great addition, and the hotel is somewhat dated, but still definitely modern and comes equipped with everything you would need. If things dramatically change during our visit I will update my review, but for now, I felt it was really important to leave an honest review so that those who are worried or scared off by some of these reviews see that it’s not really like that, and we are really happy with our choice. We almost feel as though we should pay more!
