The rooms are adequate. We had 1 studio and one, 1 bedroomed apartment. In both apartments, you have the basic essentials, consisting of, a kitchen, dining, living area with, a 2 ring electric hob, microwave, under counter fridge with ice compartment, kettle, tv, table and chairs, coffee table and sofa that also turns into a double bed. Separate bathroom with an over bath shower, toilet and wash basin. Bedrooms consist of 2 single beds, built in wardrobes, dressing table with hairdryer. Ech room had its own balcony, with tables and chairs and either a pool view, or a street view. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful, as are the rest of the staff. The complex has 2 swimming pools, a library and bar terrace. It is situated close to the centre of Polis, with lots of amenities very close by. All in all, we have enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely consider coming back again if we stay in the same area again.

Hotel was clean, rooms cleaned daily by a lovely lady. Hotel is quiet. I like quiet but this was too quiet. There was very little to do in this area and felt more like a residential area than a holiday spot. We asked to keep our room for longer as our flight was late at night. The woman was aggressive and not helpful at all. We were not allowed to keep the room. It wasn’t as much that as the woman’s attitude when we asked her. It’s at least a 40/50 min walk to the beach. This is a very quiet area (polis) with not much to do

It's a basic one bed apartments, over looking pool, it's not its a side room, but ok, you are over looked from other block, but mostly friendly, staff ok, rooms are cleaned daily. T.V a waste of time has its mainly gr÷k, no satellite stations here, so bring a Tablet if you have one. But so much to see and do.

I'm staying at Mariela right now (June 2025). Yes it is a bit dated but no more so than many others. My 1 bedroom apartment is large spacious rooms, sliding patio doors to big balcony, fridge, 2 ring halogen hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and basic kitchen equipment. Plenty of workspace if you want to cook but you might want to bring things like a paring knife, whisk, scissors as minimal provided. Plenty of hot water and kitchen has drinking water tap. Shower is over bath but works fine. Big fan provided plus hairdryer. Air-conditioning in bedroom for €5 a day but I don't need it as there's a nice breeze and I just keep the windows open. No mozzie problem so far. The bed is huge and very comfy, all new beds this year. Lift works fine. 2 pools, plenty of sunbeds and nice little pool bar during the day. Massive Papantoniou supermarket literally 2 minutes away. 5 minutes to bus station. The family are super friendly and helpful. Clientele seems mostly British over 50s. Quiet and peaceful place, no blaring music or rowdiness. I would say it's a great base for a relaxing holiday and I'm extremely happy.

Superb budget hotel with a nice size apartment. Staff are friendly and helpful and my view was lovely. Perfect for exploring as everything is nearby. Mini market next door and everything is affordable - that goes for the whole area which is just so nice and relaxing with friendly people. 500m from the beach - a 2 euro bus ride from Latchi. As someone who prefers to spend money on seeing and doing as opposed to elaborate hotels and the like, this place was absolutely perfect. I would certainly stay again.
