I had a terrible experience at Sunny Hill Hotel Apartments that I feel compelled to share. I arrived around 10:30 PM, eager to settle in, but was immediately greeted by an unhygienic room. To my horror, I spotted a cockroach scuttling across the floor as soon as I walked in. I thought this must be an isolated incident, so I asked for another room, only to find that the same problem persisted there as well. In fact, I even saw cats feasting on cockroaches outside my second room!
While the price may seem attractive, I can assure you that it is not worth jeopardizing your health and comfort. The reception staff were polite, but that was the only redeeming quality of my stay. Everything else was a complete disaster. I had booked the room for two days but lasted only 15 minutes before deciding to leave.
Now I'm stuck trying to chase down a refund, which has proven to be an added frustration to an already awful experience. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay at Sunny Hill Hotel Apartments to think twice. Save yourself the trouble and look for a cleaner, healthier option!

Very old looking place not well maintained. Only one power socket per room. Ultra small TV. Everything is broken or not working and especially shower is the worst. Breakfast is basic. Only instant coffee 🤮 This should cost not more than 40-50 euros not 130+ 👎

I do not recommend staying at Sunny Hill in Pafos.
We stayed with our family (2 adults, 2 children), but unfortunately, the room was only prepared for 2 people – there was no bedding or towels for the children. When we reported the issue at reception, we were told that the person responsible had already finished their shift and nothing could be done. I don’t understand why the person there couldn’t simply provide the bedding.
Additionally, instead of proper beds, I had to sleep on a very soft sofa, which was in terrible condition – you could feel every wooden support underneath, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. The next morning, I spoke with the supervisor who promised to deliver bedding and an extra mattress. Unfortunately, by the afternoon, only the bedding was delivered, and the mattress was still missing. I reported it again to the reception, but the staff member said they do not replace sofas, only rooms. He mentioned that no one had complained about the sofa before.
The only positive is that there was hot water this time.
The food was very monotonous, and the only bread available was toast bread – no normal bread.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and a delicious dinner with free drink for 7 euros. Sea view, stunning sunsets. Need a car but bus stops close by. Perfect!
