Situated in the centre of Protaras, Vangelis Hotel Apartments is only 150 metres from the beach. It has a large outdoor pool area, and offers air-conditioned apartments with fully-equipped kitchenettes.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The bartenders and Laxman, was always polite and made fantastic drinks, and the receptionist, Markella, was super friendly and helpful – she truly deserves a raise! She should be the front face of the hotel. Unfortunately, her colleague was not as kind; she often interrupted us when we tried to speak and came across as quite arrogant. Maybe she has been there for too long beacuse se smiled like one time. Markella on the other hand always a smile and amazing energy.
We visited the hotel at the end of the season when it was very quiet, the last day (one day before the hotel closes down) there was around 10 families left but we still had to pay an extra 30 euros for a late checkout, even though we had not been informed of the hotel’s checkout time ANYWHERE.
Everyone that worked at the restaurant gave 10/10 service. They were funny and very proffesional.
The hotel has many positive aspects, all around great experience.
Stay here for a week and what a gem we did research this place before coming but it doesnt do it justice you need to see it with your own eyes,
Staff are available 24 hours and extremely helpful,the hotel is clean throughout,and not to mention the food OMG it really caters for all!!! Entertainment every night (one day off) mini disco for the little ones. Added bonus we travelled as a couple and we came across the over 18s pool area very peaceful.will definitely be booking again.

So I have just returned from my 2 week stay at The Vangelis. We had our at least 70 of our wedding guests stay at the hotel with us and I must say the staff of Vangelis from reception, to the bar staff, to the entertainment staff, buffet staff and the cleaners were all unreal! They were on hand to help with everything!!!
The location is right on the strip and a 5 min walk from the beach! Location is perfect...
The food at dinner did get a little repetitive in which we decided to eat out a few nights which that was great but the breakfast and snack bar was perfect! The salads though were unreal and i don't eat salads! But I had to be careful as I was all inclusive and had my suit to fit into! But the salads made it a joy!
Me and my wife Steph would like to thank everyone at vangelis for looking after us and our guests! Because we booked so many in with them the complimented us with a free late check out which was superb as we have kids :)!

We stayed on a family vacation with 3 adults and 2 toddlers at the end of August.
The hotel exceeded all expectations – the service was exceptional, everyone was welcoming and kind. My child is autistic and absolutely fell in love with Alex from the dining room!
The reception always provided us with help whenever needed. The atmosphere in the hotel was calm and pleasant, and although it was fully booked, we never felt it was crowded or too noisy – it was very comfortable.
The food was varied, and we always found something to eat in the dining room, both for the kids and for us – we barely ate out at all.
The room was huge and comfortable, the pool was perfect – large and amazing for the kids. We would happily come back again and again!
We stayed for a summer vacation with kids. Nice place with beautiful pool 1,5 - 0,5m height- very good for kids with different skills. There is also a second pool with a bar for adults. It’s a ~5 minutes walking distance down hill to the beach where you need to rent a sun bed 7,5€ a day or stay on the sand beach - up to your preference. This is only thing I would love to have ready from the hotel
