This was our second time staying at the Vangelis and we were so glad that we had chosen to return here. The hotel is perfect in every way. The staff in all areas are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. They are all very knowledable, friendly and greet you every day in a warm & cheerful manner, making us feel like old friends. The adult pool is a beautiful place to relax and unwind, sunbeds were always available at all times of the day & the staff adhere to the 18+ only rule. The restaurant serves a variety of delicious food, different theme nights daily & catering for every taste possible. Konstantinos & Maria in the restaurant were so friendly, an absolute credit to the hotel. Being right in the middle of the Protaras strip makes the location excellent & although it's right in the heart of the resort, there was no noise disturbance. Our room was upgraded on arrival & as we were returning guests, a bottle of wine and a welcome card was waiting in the room. Because we arrived at 4am, they also provided sandwiches & a fruit platter, special little touches which make The Vangelis stand out from the rest. All in all, we had a fantastic time and we will absolutely be returning again. Protaras is our favourite place and The Vangelis is just perfect! Thank you for making our holiday so special. Xx

Our 2nd stay here and again it was Brilliant to the complimentary bottle of Red Wine ( which was hastenly drank on the balcony ) to the Professionalism at the Front Desk to the laughing smiling lads running the over 18s pool bar who made every day a laugh and joy,,A special mention to Konstantinos and his team who made everyday a special day in the restaurant and we even had a photo with him and his team his professional approach was second to none thank you Sir and your team,,we had lunch & Dinner in the Restaurant everyday and always found something enjoyable to eat, plenty of Sunbeds available round the Adult pool where the Drinks flowed freely,,as im typing this we are already trying to book for next year so hopefully Vangelis we will see you next year

Everything was great, the rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious. The hotel is located near a beautiful beach.

Rooms: Rooms were clean, spacious, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked great. The shower was okay, but the water pressure was low. We arrived around 22.30. They said there were “sandwiches” in the mini fridge in our room. We were a little traumatized from what we found lol. We found dry, plain and warm slices of bread. The mini fridge in fact didn’t work. We threw out the sandwiches and got burgers at a place down the road. Great place, great food. Would recommend. Food and drinks: Food was a hit or miss. If you’re picky or don’t like coriander, this isn’t the place for you! Coriander is used in most dishes and some dishes are questionable. Meat was often dry or lacked taste. Same goes for some other dishes. They did have a pretty good selection of different foods during each mealtime. As for the drinks, they had an okay selection. It was basic, but fine. Keep in mind that most drinks will be off brand/not brands you’re used to. Service: Service was good! When we asked for an extra blanket they immediately made sure we would get one. Staff was nice and friendly. An extra thanks to the woman who cleaned our room almost daily. Location: Location couldn’t have been better. On the right side as well as on the left there were restaurants, bars and shops everywhere. The hotel is placed just far enough away so you’re not bothered by the music and entertainment in the city. Accommodations: The pools are really nice, but freezing cold, so be prepared. The hotel offers an 18+ zone which was a big hit in our family. The 18+ zone has its own sunbeds, bar, snackbar and a small terrace. I did not use the gym or spa, so can’t comment on that.

So I have just returned from my 2 week stay at The Vangelis. We had our at least 70 of our wedding guests stay at the hotel with us and I must say the staff of Vangelis from reception, to the bar staff, to the entertainment staff, buffet staff and the cleaners were all unreal! They were on hand to help with everything!!! The location is right on the strip and a 5 min walk from the beach! Location is perfect... The food at dinner did get a little repetitive in which we decided to eat out a few nights which that was great but the breakfast and snack bar was perfect! The salads though were unreal and i don't eat salads! But I had to be careful as I was all inclusive and had my suit to fit into! But the salads made it a joy! Me and my wife Steph would like to thank everyone at vangelis for looking after us and our guests! Because we booked so many in with them the complimented us with a free late check out which was superb as we have kids :)! Thank you Vangelis! We will be back....
