Quaint hotel up in the mountains. Some gaps in hospitality at the restaurant. They kick you out at 10 to prep for lunch. Room good in space and amenities. The fridge did not work but luckily it was not needed. Very good escape location. The physical plant needs update. Looks dated. Recommended

Rodon Mount Hotel & Resort is a wonderful mountain retreat that perfectly combines comfort, tranquility, and genuine Cypriot hospitality. We stayed at Rodon Hotel, which is in an amazing location, and we’ve been coming here with our family for many years.
Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing when it came to service. At breakfast, we arrived at 09:50, got our food quickly, and sat down at exactly 10:00. At 10:10, a waiter came over and told us we needed to hurry up and leave because they were closing. At 10:15, the lights were turned off while we were still eating.
I understand that the restaurant needs to prepare for lunch, but this is not the right way to treat guests who arrived before closing time.
Later in the afternoon, we asked about the tea and cake offer. The waiter told us he didn’t know what cakes were available and said we had to get up and check ourselves. When I politely asked if he could bring the cakes over so we could choose, his response was simply “no, get up if you want.”
I’ve worked in hospitality for 15 years, and I’ve never spoken to a customer like this. It’s disappointing to experience such blunt and rude behavior in a place we’ve trusted and visited for years.
We also stayed in an executive suite, which had two TVs. Unfortunately, neither of them had internet access or the option to use Netflix. When I called reception to ask about it, the lady who answered told me, “We don’t offer internet on our TVs for safety reasons.”
I was honestly astonished by this response, especially for an executive suite and considering modern hotel standards. It felt outdated and poorly explained, and it didn’t match the level of accommodation we expected.
This is the first time we’ve had such poor service at Rodon Hotel, and I truly hope this was an exception and not the new standard.

Unpleasant experience, partucularly regarding the room.
- Stained sheets with old disgusting stains.
- Curtains do not shut all the way. Had to push the coffee table against the patio doors to keep them closed. Yet too much light came in, in the morning.
- smoke detector green light flashing all night right in my eyes
- pillow was destroyed. The wool was lumpy inside the pillow/in pieces. My head could not sit well on the pillow.
-Very short sheets. Could not turn in bed without taking them off.
While the following is not strictly a negative, I do not get why one cannot use internet services or apps on the tv while it has the capacity. Could not use netflix or youtube.

A lovely and cozy hotel in a perfect location. The rooms are simple, but the beautiful views more than make up for it. The atmosphere is especially magical during Christmas, a truly charming place to relax and unwind.

Standard Room
The Twin/Double rooms are tastefully decorated and styled, some offer baths and some have large walk in showers. These rooms can easily accommodate an extra bed or and cot. Connected rooms are also available.
Superior Room
Spoil yourself while relaxing in an atmosphere of peaceful light colors, combined with a charming and modern design. The newly renovated Superior Rooms are elegantly decorated with either double or twin beds sleeping up to 3 persons.
Family Room
The newly renovated Family Rooms are stylishly decorated to offer warm hospitality to families. With one double bed, a separate twin-bedded sleeping area and lounge with sofa bed, these rooms can accommodate up to 5 persons.
Disabled Room
These are special design rooms for guests with walking disabilities or who are confined to a wheelchair. The bathroom is equipped with handle bar for added safety, all facilities and amenities are easily accessible, with plenty of space in the room as well as a spacious balcony to enjoy the view for a perfect holiday.
Executive Suite
The Executive Suites introduce the ultimate of comfort and style. Delicately decorated with a double bed and a spacious lounge area with sofa bed, sleeping up to 4 persons.
Honeymoon Suite
The Honeymoon Suite is designed thoughtfully for couples. With magnificent view of the beautiful area of Agros. Featuring a king size double bed, bathroom with rain shower and Jacuzzi as well as exclusive bathrobes and slippers.
Presidential Suite
