Our honeymoon at this hotel turned into the most disappointing hotel stay we’ve ever had. We had booked and fully paid for a Penthouse with a half-board package two months in advance, yet upon arrival, we were informed that the Penthouse was no longer available. Instead, we were placed in a different room and told we would be “upgraded” once the Penthouse was free. Given the occasion, this was completely unacceptable. To add to the frustration, the receptionist hurried us through signing some paperwork without giving us the chance to read it properly. As compensation, we received two lunch vouchers—only to discover that many other guests had received the same, indicating that this was a recurring problem. The food was another letdown. It was either bland or excessively spicy, with a repetitive, uninspired selection that felt like a cafeteria-style setup. No matter the time of day, frozen fries seemed to be a constant presence on the menu. Although the hotel offers a great view, that alone cannot make up for the poor service and lack of respect towards guests. What was meant to be a memorable honeymoon turned into an incredibly frustrating experience. We would never recommend this hotel—think twice before booking!

The way the hotel handled this situation was unprofessional and disrespectful. We felt like we were treated differently based on where we were coming from, which raises serious concerns about their attitude toward certain guests. As for the food, it was a repetitive and uninspired cafeteria-style experience—the same ingredients slightly modified every day, with bland flavors. No matter the time of day, there were always frozen fries, which seemed to be a staple of their menu. What was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Think twice before booking here!

Hello, I recently stayed at Tasia Maris Sands for ten days at the end of October. This hotel is a good choice if you don’t plan on staying there all day and intend to go out or dine elsewhere. We had booked with breakfast included, but the food was rather tasteless; the tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vegetables often appeared to have been prepared days in advance, given their shriveled appearance. The variety of food was limited, and the bread was frequently stale. As for cleanliness, it was adequate but I noticed mold on the showerhead. The pool is small but sufficient for the number of guests staying there. However, this hotel does not in any way reflect a four-star rating; two, perhaps three stars would be more appropriate. Regarding the staff, the housekeeping team and the reception staff are simply wonderful. However, the servers at the restaurant do not allow you the time to finish your meal before they start clearing the table. Under these conditions, it is impossible to dine comfortably! It is high time the hotel management addresses this issue. The situation escalated to the point where I had to raise my voice at one of the waitresses who tried to take my plate while I was still eating. It seemed as if they were earning commissions based on the number of plates returned to the kitchen.

We stayed for two weeks at the Tasia Maris Sands Hotel and it was absolutely wonderful!!! The rooms are spacious, modern and impeccable clean. They are cleaned daily and the towels are changed daily as well. The hotel is located directly on the beach and we had a lovely view over the entire bay. The balcony also had a nice size. The food is very good quality and tasty and we enjoyed it very much, especially the coffee which was the best coffee we ever had in a hotel. There is no evening entertainment, just for those to know who like evening shows. But in close proximity there are lots of bars with evening entertainment. The staff is so nice and welcoming, you name a wish and they try to make it possible. Antri made every breakfast special, Lakis was always present, up for a joke or a nice conversation, Dominic was extremely hardworking, polite and nice. And the heart of it all is Maria at the reception. She is such a nice and kind person, always trying everything to make the stay of the guests a special experience. For us she is the heart and soul of the Tasia Maris Sands. The rest of the staff is also very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay very, very much and are definitely coming back!
