I tried to think of one really negative thing I could write about this hotel and I failed. Of course, one could complain about the balconies being too small, lack of shade on them in the middle of a hot sunny day or that the bathroom lacks a shelf to put your toiletries within easy reach. That is all true but those issues do not really spoil the overall experience – Tasia Maris Sands is a very clean, guest-friendly hotel, and it’s perfectly positioned right on the beach. Service is top-notch - every staff member does a great job, and they all make you feel comfortable and welcome. Food is always an aera where it’s hard to make everyone happy but I can’t imagine anyone not being able to find something good to eat at breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are plenty of choices for both meat-lovers and vegetarians. It’s an adults-only hotel and we appreciated the fact there were no screaming babies and children there. Smokers will appreciate ashtrays on the balconies and the freedom to smoke anywhere around the pool (sorry non-smokers). The air-con in your room is strong and individually operated. Cat-lovers will love the cats who visit the outside dining area at each meal. The cats will beg you for food but don’t get tricked – they’re not starving and your human food is bad for them anyway. On departure day you need to check out by noon but if your transfer to the airport is later in the day and you want to kill time by going to the beach or having a swim in the hotel pool don’t worry about the towels – you get fresh towels for that activity and then another fresh set if you want to shower before leaving the hotel. Not many hotels are so kind and helpful. In the lift one day I overheard an English man telling another hotel guest that he and his wife never stayed in the same hotel twice for vacation anywhere in the world – until they came to this place. The hotel made such a big impression on them that they now return there each time they come to Cyprus. And guess what – me and my wife have exactly the same rule when it comes to hotel stays and we will break that rule by going back to Tasia Maris Sands next year.

Highly recommend Tasia Maris Sands Hotel The location is perfect, right by the beach, with clean, spacious rooms and great service. A special mention to Panikos, the waiter, who was always friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed. Kostas, the bartender – his cocktails are fantastic, and his friendly personality made our time at the bar even better. The food was delicious and fresh, with plenty of options to choose from. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return next year.

Wonderful quiet hotel to relax at. Spotlessly clean and attentive friendly staff who all work tremendously hard to ensure your stay is memorable. Location is right on the beach, so if you are a beach lover this is the right place for you. There are numerous water sports to enjoy there too. All in all great place. 🙂

We visited Tasia Maris Sands Hotel in Aya Napa in August. We have stayed for 1 week. It is a smaller hotel right next to the beach (which was a big plus for me) but it also has its own pool with sunbeds. There is a bar right next to the pool, and during the day you can have snacks on the terrace and also cocktails. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were buffet style. The food was tasty, various (every day a rich selection of fruit and cakes) . The rooms are very nice, clean, modern, we had a sea view room. The biggest highlight for me was the staff, a team of very nice and friendly people. I also tried the gym, which is also well equipped. We spent a nice holiday here.

where to start... the hotel is in a very good location, easily accessible, right next to a sandy beach with a beautiful view of the sea and access to a private pool with umbrellas. The rooms are large enough with a spacious balcony, we appreciate the room equipment. It stands out for cleanliness. The staff is extremely nice, caring, but also friendly. The food is excellent, there is plenty to choose from, both domestic and international cuisine. I give 10 points out of 5.
