Stayed solo for 7 days - first time in Cyprus - Location wise this hotel couldn't be better: it's right on a beach which in itself is one of the nicest beaches in the area (white sand and clear blue water) and great for swimming, 2 grocery shops are max 5min walk, if you want to go to the centre of Ayia Napa for dinner/drinks or other it's only a 15/20min walk, plenty of other beaches nearby if you want to walk a bit further, the hotel is also blessed with wonderful sunsets every evening. I also ended up booking a food and wine tour and went to Varosha - all were very accessible or serviced by local tours picking you up from this hotel. - Staff and hotel atmosphere: the staff has been the most welcoming since the day I had arrived (from reception, cooks, barman to cleaners), ensuring everything at dinner was okay, that I had everything I needed, having a casual chat - everyone felt like family by the end of my holiday. This hotel is the perfect size, not too big but big enough to meet other people during your stay if you wish to. - Services: The swimming pool was quite ''fresh'' at this time of year but most people were swimming in the ocean which was still at a very nice temperature. The sauna, the clean rooms, the food service, the extra swimming towels, the bar were all spot on. The sauna was great after a sunset swim in the ocean. The gym was great to have, especially if you train a lot. There are basic machines which are good but a bit limiting in what you can do. I would say if you are looking for a high-end gym you might be a bit restricted. I think free weights and a squat rack with a bench would be a massive addition to upgrade a bit on this end. I also personally care about sustainability and although the hotel seems to be ecocertified I felt bad using the small shampoo and body wash containers which were only big enough for one or two showers so I went through quite a few during my stay. Perhaps an idea for the future is something I've seen in another hotel is to have like dispensers in the shower which can be refilled, those last a longer time. Finally, if you are hesitating to book you won't regret your decision!

Obsessed with this place! Especially because of the incredibly warm, dedicated, & friendly staff. Also so many cats around 😻 Stayed solo for 10 days & everything was perfect: the location (on the beach), amenities (outdoor pool right by eating area, sauna, heated pool, steam room), delicious food (& excellent presentation along with cuisine-themed nights) that went above my expectations. Can easily do day trips by local & intercity buses. Would be back in a heartbeat. 🫶🏽

Tasia Maris Sands is such a lovely small hotel right on the beach. All of the staff are so friendly and really look after you. The whole place is very clean and the rooms are spotless. The beds are so comfortable and the shower is honestly the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. There’s a great choice of food every day, and everything feels relaxed and easy. It’s just a really nice place to stay and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break by the sea.

This is the best place we have ever been to! We had chosen the hotel as a stay for our 30th wedding anniversary and my 50th birthday and what we received exceeded our expectations. Food - during 8 days of the stay we tasted over 50 different dishes, mostly local - all fresh and delicious. Friendly, smiling staff made our stay feel like home. Room - great view, clean and quiet with adjustable AC. Cosmetics, tea, coffee, towels - all included. Beautiful beach 20 steps away from the hotel. Swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, showers, free snacks and drinks for AI guests. AND Mr Lakis made our anniversary day, leaving a bottle of chilled champagne in our room. We love you, guys!!! We definitely recommend it as a lovely place to stay for couples - no kids under 12 are allowed here!!!

This hotel is virtually on the beach. The staff are fantastic. It's a little more intimate than the bigger hotels. The room was really good, superior penthouse on the top floor 6. It was advertised as a large balcony, so thought it would have sunbeds,but it was only regular size with a table and 2 chairs, but fabulous views of the beech and sunsets. Fridge and safe where in the price, so no extra payments. Towels where free and could be changed daily, not even a deposit needed. Food was OK, many dishes available and different each day, just not as hot as we would like, unless anything had just been brought out expect no hot food. Restaurant staff were brilliant, take drinks order as well. Bar staff great also, everyone in hotel is so polite and courteous. No entertainment at hotel, but walk to the main street is only a few minutes away. Pool looked lovely but not used by us as most beds are in the shade and gone by 10.30am. Speaking to other guests the pool was cold. So we spent every day on the beech. 2 beds for €5, umbrella would be another €2.5. Our visit was 10 days. Would recommend sea facing penthouse as that was our highlight. We went all inclusive, so drinks were local brands, but all tasted fine. AI till 11pm, need to pay after that. All cocktails were lovely, especially gin fizz and coco loco. Would only go again if they're was a really good deal, but not put off at all really. On site sauna, steam and inside swimming pool too. Lovely walks on sea walks to nissi beech to the right and ayia napa Harbour to the left.
