My wife and I have stayed at the Anais Bay 8 times since 2012. We have always enjoyed our stay in both the hotel and apartments.
Family and staff that run the Anais always give their guest a warm welcome.
The Anais is but located about 3 minutes from the beach and restaurants.
There is a nice walk along the beach that takes about 30 mins to Protaras.

Recently, I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 weeks with my family, we stayed in the apartments rather than the hotel for the extra room to suit our sleeping accommodations. The place has two pools, one near the apartments which we used all the time and are quiet, no need to rush for sun beds, it's has a nearby bar for snacks and food, unfortunately this bar is cash only, not my preference so I ended up buying drink and food from the shop which is a 30 second walk. The main pool in the hotel also has a bar which you can pay by card if needed. The hotels service was great if and when needed. The rooms are cleaned daily, I think the towels and sheets are changed weekly. Just be warned air conditioning is charged as an extra, 5 euros a day, you have the option of 2, bedroom & living room, so for 2 weeks that was an extra 140 euros, I was happy to pay it, its so hot there its a must.
The beach is literally a 5 minute walk away, the bars and restaurants are also 5 minutes away, and the food everywhere is fantastic.
There is bus stop near the Mexican restaurant, catching the 102 bus will get you to Protaras and fig tree beach in 10 minutes or so, ayia napa in about 40 minutes, the water park takes just short of an hour, catching the 101 bus gets you home from each of these destinations.
To be honest I only have one complaint which is why I went with 4 stars instead of 5, at the end of day a yellow ring formed around the pool which I could see being cleaned away at around 7.30am daily by someone with a spray and cloth, but would form at the end of each day regardless. If anyone left floatable beds/toys in the pool overnight they too would have a yellowness on the base that has been sitting in the water, I googled an explanation to the yellowing in pools and learned the yellow is a green algae that's has become immune to chlorine. This has me wondering how clean the pool is, further more I had and ear infection in both ears for the last week of my holiday as did a a friend's daughter, both of us had unfortunately got water in our ears from the pool. I suggest using ear plugs in that pool just in case.
But other than that the location was great, the rooms were great, the service was great.
I just think the apartment pool needs emptying and a deep chemical clean to get rid of the yellowing, I'm no expert, I could be wrong.
Oh, and if you like cats, you'll love place, they are everywhere, friendly and always looking for a feed and a petting, feed one once and you'll then have a pet for two weeks.
Would I come here again..... the location is great, everyone is friendly and the service is great, the apartments rooms are big and ideal.

Close to the beach, nice and clean but not so big swimming pool, friendly staff.
Rooms cleaned daily.
Free parking.
Good, English breakfast every day.
We can't comment on the rooms in the hotel, as we were in the apartment block which is separate to the hotel. Both easyjet and jet2 don't mention this in their descriptions. The apartments are lovely and have everything you need. Aircon is an extra 5 euro per day for the living area and 5 euro per day for the bedroom. Definitely worth the money. (Maybe some drawers in the bedroom for clothes would be an improvement). The apartments are not really disabled friendly so I'd suggest a hotel room. The bath doesn't have grab rails and the slopes to the apartments are without hand rails. The apartment complex has its own pool area and pool bar. You are welcome to use the pool and pool bar/restaurant at the hotel which is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
