Happy service, good atmosphere and a wide verity of food on offer. We had all inclusive service and it was always served up with a smile. One of our hosts deserves special mention, his smile and happy demeanor made our stay even better, thank you Khum for all your hard work.

Let’s just start with how shameful the people leaving good reviews for this hotel are, being begged by staff or intoxicated enough to write such lies!!! It misleads people into wasting their hard earned money. On arrival you are told about the MANY different extra chargeable items whilst there, even a room safe was charged €2 a day it’s laughable how desperate they are to get any extra money from you. Staff are so used to complaints and clearly know how run down and terrible this hotel is that their attitude is more or less ‘these things happen’ terrible attitude unless you want to spend some sort of extra money. Also during this stay had different staff members trying to access our room whilst the do not disturb sign was on the door. Absolutely appalling hygiene standards and safety standards (do not bring children here). Cockroaches and ants everywhere, daily room cleans do not even give the floor a wipe over and they clean out your cups and glasses in the sink of your room and place them back on the side! The food is disgusting, I had paid for half board for 9 nights and we went into the dining room 4 times and 3 of them were just to feed my child a yogurt and give him fruit, to which the selection was the worst of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Do not pay for anything more than B&B or you will end up eating out everyday and costing you a lot of money. To top the whole stay off, there were exposed electrical wiring in the indoor swimming pool as well as a rusty nail just laying on one of the steps inside the pool. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. ANY GOOD REVIEW IS FAKE OR BEGGED FOR BY THE HOTEL. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. Because I complained I’m sure a sarcastic reply will be made, I just do not want a family like ours to have a yearly holiday ruined and anybody else waste their money.

This hotel offers a basic place to rest while you explore Paphos. You get what you pay for, and while it's affordable, there are areas for improvement. Rooms: We had a limited sea view, and the room itself was quite basic with cleanliness falling short of expectations. A safe is available upon arrival, but note that it requires a card-only deposit. The air conditioning works exceptionally well, which was a plus. However, when we requested an extended stay on our departure day, one staff member at reception was unprofessional. Despite availability on the hotel website, all guests were denied extensions. Facilities: The main pool is a good size, and the upper-level pool is also enjoyable for a day’s relaxation. I didn’t use the spa or indoor pool, so I can’t comment on those. Breakfast was decent, and the dining staff were pleasant and helpful. I only had the bed-and-breakfast option, so I can't speak to the all-inclusive experience. Location: The hotel is a bit far from the harbor, but the reception staff will gladly call a taxi for you, which costs around €15. Renting a car is advisable, and there’s a bus stop just two minutes away. Entertainment: There’s nightly entertainment that I found enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The bar staff also provided great service. Overall Impression: I would rate this hotel around a 3-star level rather than a 4-star. If you’re on a budget and looking for a reasonable stay, it fits the bill. However, the owners could invest more in the property, as it has real potential and just needs some TLC.

Just home from a fabulous Mum & daughter stay in beautiful Paphos. Avlida hotel was perfectly situated for a safe beach, shops, bars, restaurants and bus travel. We booked B&B only. There was a good selection of food, although it would have been nice to have a little more choice of fresh fruit. The room was large with a comfortable bed, great shower and lovely sea view which was a bonus. However, cleanliness wasn't 100% (don't look under the bed!) It was in need of a some TLC as it seemed a little tired. (Peeling mirror, lampshade missing etc) The lifts were very small and only 2 available which, for the size of the hotel was inadequate. A big plus were the very friendly and helpful staff, including the cleaner, the waiting staff at breakfast and the reception staff. Especially Agatha who was a font of local knowledge and always welcomed us with a smile and cheerful greeting. Thank you and we hope to return. Adrienne & Ruth xx

I recently returned from a wonderful vacation and wanted to share my experience at the hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic stay! Firstly, I have to mention the great bartender, George. He was not only friendly and attentive but also made some of the best cocktails I've ever tasted. George truly added a special touch to our evenings at the hotel bar. The food was another highlight of our stay. It was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the variety and quality of the dishes. A special mention goes to the head chef for the amazing desserts – they were simply outstanding! The rooms were quite spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring or lounging by the pool. One suggestion for improvement would be the safety barrier by the rooftop pool. It would be even better if the barrier were transparent, as the views from up there are great, and it would be nice to enjoy them fully while sitting in the water. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
