Chet is a legend. He went out of his way to remember what drinks we order. When he sees us coming towards the bar, he has the drinks ready. He always had a smile on his face and was really nice. Entertainment team was fantastic. Rooms were clean and always taken care of. Always a different selection of delicious food in the restaurant. Maintenance staff are constantly working and everyone went out of their way to make it a pleasurable experience. Would highly recommend.

Location is decent. Not far from water, some landmarks. Was not here for very long. Hotel is mediocre at most. Aging building, rooms are not new. Worst part of it is the paper thin walls. Absolutely horrible. People are loud in the hallways, running like animals, and the walls let everything through. Would not stay here again. One would hope for improvements. If you are staying, though, bring earplugs.

Not 4 stars; very dated with poor service. The door to the adjourning room did not lock and when we phoned reception, she was unhelpful and dismissive. Told us the hotel was 80% full so nothing could be done until the morning. The fridge and the air conditioning did not work, so we sweated all night. We spoke the the guest relations manager the next day and she was great. We got a room change the next day which was better because the air conditioning and fridge worked although drinks did not get very cold. The bathroom light didn't work properly. It kept flickering and by day 2 didn't work at all. Tried to call reception but there was no phone number or labelled button, so I had to walk down to ask for the light to be fixed. Labelling the phone would be better. This is by far the worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed at. Do not book and pay more to stay elsewhere. I think you can judge a hotel by whether you get a big clunky key on a keyring or a plastic key card. You can guess what you'll get here.

We've stayed at the Avlida before and enjoyed it so we decided to come back. My self I am a fine dining Chef back in the UK. During our previous visits the food was average but this time the food was fantastic. The new Chef Baz is doing a fantastic job being everywhere and his food is to die for, it's clear the food is way better.Congratulations!!! Staff and services is very friendly and its an overall pleasure coming back. Krep up the good job. We will be back!!!

During my stay I decided to go for the all inclusive deal, wise decision. Trust me you will not get hungry food available throughout the day they really put out a great spread . I should mention the lamb cook to perfection huge selection to choose from every day. All the staff are really friendly and helpful could not fault anything got to know the bar staff really well as you can imagine ! Great location short walk to beach and evenings entertainment should not be missed they cater for all ages.
