Kapetanios Bay Hotel is a superior 3-star hotel situated in the most privileged area of Protaras and within 10 minutes walking distance from the famous beach of Fig Tree Bay. This hotel is located in Protaras' main tourist sector, barely 500 meters from the sandy beaches of Protaras. It has an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
The nearest beach is Yianna Marie Beach and is within 5 minutes walk. The hotel has 140 rooms in two buildings, with a private balcony, offering quality and comfort. The pools are very nice, we had a great time at this hotel, everything was perfect. From the hall window u can even watch the water show from the neighbours, that was great ! U also have a safe box to use it for free for your value things or money.

Rooms are a little on the small side but clean and comfortable. Food was spot on. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great location for strip. Pool area is very clean and fun.

Excellent hotel. Stayed all inclusive and was well worth it. Great choice at breakfast various types of eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms etc., cold selection, cereals, toast and even delicious fluffy pancakes a couple of days. Excellent snack menu and choice of special AI menu for lunch at the pool bar which you could choose starters, main and dessert if you wanted. Fantastic drinks menu which were full size drinks, not your usual little plastic cups that some AI hotels do.
Staff very polite and friendly and rooms cleaned daily. Huge beds and decent size room.
Asked for a pool view to avoid the noise from the strip but we were out at night anyway.
Would definitely stay here again, in fact we are already discussing dates for next year.

Food and beverage staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and very chatty so made you feel welcome.
Reception staff was very rude and In my opinion don’t think they have any people skills. Everything seemed a problem , me and my partner had been messed about regarding the all inclusive and when we asked about it, we got told “didnt you read the paper you was given”, I tried to explain that staff members had told us different but they didn’t want to know and made us feel stupid.
Some of the housekeeping was very argumentative. Bed wasn’t changed so we called down, the housekeeper came up and argued that she changed it but when we checked in 3 days ago there was a stain on the pillow that I put aside and it was still there 3 days later even though I was told it was changed.
The breakfast wasn’t very good. Decided not to have it in the hotel after 2 days as it was always cold and tasteless.
The evening buffet was disappointing, if you don’t like mushrooms there’s no choice for you. The only vegetarian options was a mix of cut up veg or rice. They also only had half the buffet open in the evening so there wasn’t much choice.
From 9-10pm every night there’s a water show which we had front row seats every night. It was very loud and if you have children they wouldn’t be able to sleep and then after that you have the very close by bars blasting music until 3am.
I wouldn’t recommend coming here with kids or if you have an early night and the all inclusive really isn’t worth it.

A very nice hotel staff are great very welcoming and attentive your needs are their priority. The food is good well cooked and well presented and there is a good choice. The only problem is where it is situated, there are bars at the front of the hotel that play live music until 1 am so if you are looking for some piece at quiet late at night you don't get it, All inclusive finishes at 10.30 every night so you have to pay for your drinks after that time
