We arrived at Panareti at 01.30am on 24th March to be greeted with a dark shut down place. A scruffy guy asleep on a sofa informed us that the site was closed and the bank had taken over. He was difficult to understand as very broken English. Stuck with 2 very young children tired and restless let alone scared as the resort looked a mess we quickly arranged alternative accomodation. We booked through booking.com and informed them in the morning about our issue. They never got back. We went back in the morning as we could see the resort in daylight and what a mess it was. Over grown borders, empty swimming pool, it looked derelict. We were approached by a man wearing a hat and chains and rings, looking like some gangster. He also said in broken english that the resort was closed and taken over by the bank and no longer accomodating. We took pictures then returned to our nearby accomodation so we could enjoy our break. A month on we are still trying to get a refund. Booking.com have not been very helpful and all responses from them are written as if we havent gone yet. They are saying the resort can still accomodate the booking. How when booking has passed and how can a resort that bad still be able to accomodate. DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT AND DO NOT BOOK THROUGH BOOKING.COM as somewhere there is lack of communication. Still waiting for refund

We had dinner here last night. The staff were great and very welcoming. The food was the best I've had in Cyprus. This place doesn't take bookings and is very busy in the higher seasons, so I would advise getting there a bit earlier than normal.

This place is dead, if not dying. The only lifeline left for this place is the staff - some are still giving their best (Jake in particular), others DO NOT CARE.
Please do not go to this hotel anymore - the management is only taking the income but not giving it back to the business. Those who still thinks this is a 4 star and missed the hundreds of warnings from reviews will be left disappointed, heartbroken and miserable, that's how we are.
If you really think this hotel is cheap then expect a very, very run down place, in the middle of nowhere, one person running the bar (not manned all the time, you have to look around to see if anyone can pour you a drink!), the kitchen and the reception and they can be rude at times. The breakfast every day is the same, usual fries, a choice of one jam, choco spread, 2 cereals, instant coffee or pay for a proper coffee! You have to serve yourself with juice from the boxes using only disposable plastic cups. Some bowls and plates have cracks already. Bedrooms with very old and creaky beds, barely any sheets, nearly brown towels and curtains that are falling off. The sauna is gone, ceilings hanging off, broken chairs every where, changing areas are dirty, the gym is a mess (if you still call it a gym with all the broken electric equipment and weights scattered all over the place). Abandoned leisure area, so to speak.
This is not a hotel, let alone 4 star.

Dirty rooms, couldn’t find any staff specially in reception, and the breakfast was… not enough. It close at 10, we went at 9:30 and we find only some mushrooms and couple of cucumbers and tomatoes. Ofc there are no coffee machines. It is surely not a 4 star hotel. More like 0.5 hotel
