Whether you are looking for easy access to the bustling cities of Larnaca and Agia Napa, or you prefer to relax in the sunshine by the spacious pool, the hotel is situated in a convenient location and beautiful scenery makes the hotel an excellent choice for your island break.
The entire length of the main coastal road in Protaras spans from Paralimni into Agia Napa via Protaras and is about 8km long. It is lined with a wide pedestrian route which is ideal for walkers and bikers.
Guests can also take walks and hikes in the nearby National Park of Cape Greco, home to the famous sea caves which are a part of the Aphrodite Coastal Route.

Stayed in June all inclusive with my wife, the room was clean and nicely decorated with a nice mood lighting effect.
Rooms were cleaned regularly and towels changed.
The pool area is nice, and the water warm.
The food was good (not fantastic though) and hot with plenty of choice, there was always something there that we liked, the alcohol served was not very good, beer was OK.
The staff on the whole were friendly apart from one woman at reception.
Entertainment was hit and miss in the evenings and didn’t last long.
There is a beautiful beach 10 min stroll away, with a nice walkway along the coast, taking you to the main resort area.
On the whole, we had a nice holiday and would go back. The negative points brought up did not spoil our stay at the hotel.

Do not expect 5 star hotel when you choose 3, so not everything will be perfect. However to me this hotel is a strong „3 plus” standard, almost 4 ;) Clean, the service very nice and helpful, cosy atmosphere, pool toys for adults and children for free;), good animation programme (dancing included, nice choice of music:)). Bartenders really talkative and friendly, making tasty and strong drinks.
Worse side: 15 min walk to the beach may be to much for some people and there may be not much choice of really good food.

We went, for a quick vacation for 3 nights. Overall experience was very positive. Room was big enough for 2 people, comfy bed, TV, small fridge, A/C, balcony with decent view, and well equiped bathroom. Staff and servers was very polite and nice. Pool was very cool, enough sunbeds for everyone. Temperature of the water in pool was perfect. Bar near the pool was OK. Had decent beer and coctails.
My only issue was with the bartenders. One of three was nice, but rest of them, not so much. I had the impression, that you are not welcome at the bar, where they talk to other quests whom they like. It was very awkward for me to go there to grab a drink. That was only unpleasnt thing about our stay. About the food - breakfast was very good, with great fresh orange juice, coffee and other drinks. Lunch was a little bit boring and bland, food was pretty much the same every day, with 2 or 3 dishes swaped. Dinner was slightly better than lunch, but not that great. Overall food was okay, but not for long term.
I would highly recommend stay at that hotel, me and my fiancée was very pleased. In my opinion hotel is well located, neighbourhood is calm, you have bus stop couple meters from the hotel, and sea is very close too.

The Papouis Hotel is clean and tidy, decorated well and is modernised. The pool area is nice, chilled and clean. The staff are friendly for the main part, at times abit away with the fairies! The food is ok, nothing special. Alot of reviews state its the same thing everyday, this isn't the case we stayed for 6 nights and the food was different every night, breakfast was the same but they cater for every breakfast option so can't really be moaned at for that! The entertainment team were polite and friendly and tried thier best, the time we spent there didn't seem to be the right crowd for it though.
All in all not a bad hotel, my advice would be to eat out a few times so the hotels food is still not too bad come the end of your stay.

On arrival I was checked in quickly ! Went up to my room which was lovely clean and modern ! balcony looking over the pool with sea views ✅ Breakfast just WOW everything you could possibly want buffet style scrambled eggs boiled eggs fried eggs bacon sausage mushrooms fried bread lots of cold meats cheese fruit cereal amazing 🤩 pool area is lovely and I found quiet with nice music and a nice pool bar with friendly staff ! plenty of sunbeds shade or sun !
Entertainment although I didn't stay to watch seemed quite good and finished at a reasonable time I had a lovely break and definitely go back 😎🏊🔆

Take advantage of the crystal clear waters with the many water sports on offer including scuba diving. Evenings can be spent enjoying a meal in one of the numerous tavernas or restaurants within the resort or visiting one of the many bars. Protaras also boasts two discos for those seeking a lively night out and only 10kms away is Ayia Napa with it's bustling night life for a wider selection. Facilities in resort are plentiful with a wide selection of shops, however a little further along the coast lies the typically Cypriot village of Paralimni offering a much wider range.
