Incredible experience. They let us check in early and use the showers later in the day after checkout before our flight. I don’t know why there are bad reviews. if you need a cheap place to stay in the heart of the night life this is your place.

Overall very happy with my stay here. The outside looks a bit outdated but has everything I needed. A pool and a bar where you can order food and drinks. The staff was friendly and helpful except for one person. The room was perfect. I stayed in room 35 and it was nice and specious with a private balcony. The bathroom was nice and clean, there was a small kitchen, AC and the beds were comfy. Our AC leaked the first night but after telling them in the morning they fixed it right away. The location also very good, walking distance to the strip and there are shops nearby. There was also car parking which is very convenient for rentals. For the price very nice place!

I had a very unpleasant experience with this hotel. When I first called to ask about availability, I mentioned that the price on Booking was €77. The man at the reception told me that they had rooms and that I should give him my name and book directly with him. Later, by mistake, I booked the wrong dates on Booking (November instead of September). When I called again, already on my way from Larnaca (about 50 km away), he told me to just come and check in, then suddenly hung up on me. Once I arrived, I gave him my ID, and he looked at me and said, in a very rude way, “Come back in two months.” I explained the mistake with the dates and offered to pay the difference or change the booking, especially since it was already midnight, and the room would otherwise stay empty until the morning. He refused, said the money was lost, and that it was not his problem. His attitude was extremely unprofessional and impolite. Thankfully, Booking.com intervened and refunded me, but the way the staff handled the situation was unacceptable. Instead of showing some basic customer service and allowing me to pay the difference for the correct date, they preferred to send me away at midnight. This is not the way a hotel in the service industry should treat guests. Because of this experience, I cannot give more than one star.

I recently stayed at Amaos Rooms and honestly, I regret not booking somewhere else. From the moment we checked in, everything felt off. The place gives off the vibe of an abandoned student dorm that someone quickly patched up for tourists. The photos online are wildly misleading – the actual rooms are outdated, poorly maintained, and frankly depressing. The bathroom had serious issues: old fixtures, mold in the corners, and water pressure so weak it felt like trying to rinse off with a dripping faucet. Towels were never changed during our stay, and there was absolutely no room cleaning service. It’s like the place operates on autopilot with zero care for basic hospitality. The worst part by far was the staff. While a couple of them were somewhat friendly, most acted like they were annoyed by your existence. Especially the night staff – totally nonchalant and borderline rude. Every request was met with a blank stare or a flat-out “no.” It felt like they were trained to avoid helping guests. The location is the only slightly positive aspect – close to the beach and bars – but that’s not nearly enough to make up for the stress of staying here. It honestly felt like I was transported into a “Ceausescu-era dorm room” with a fancy sign outside pretending it’s a hotel. I would not recommend Amaos Rooms to anyone looking for even a remotely decent holiday experience. If you’re okay with broken promises, indifferent staff, and a headache every time you return to your room – this might be the place for you. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere.

The room we stayed in was as described on the website. The location is very good because the center of events is a 5 minute walk away, while most beaches are approximately 10-15 minutes away at most by car. Repairman is extremely kind and always solved problems quickly (in particular, we had a problem with the terrace door that could not be opened/closed 2 times). We also had an adapter for chargers in the room, which was very useful, although it would be possible to charge phones without an adapter because they also have an option for a USB cable. Although the pool is officially open from 10-18h, it is sometimes possible to swim a little longer and the most important thing is that the pool is cleaned regularly every evening. A big plus is that the reception is open 24 hours a day and you can check in/out at any time of the day/night. If you need parking, the hotel has its own, but only a few spaces, however, during our stay, we had no problem finding a place. The hairdryer in the room is quite okay. When checking in to the hotel, we were told that we could ask for the room to be cleaned 2 times in a period of 7 days, however, during our stay of 9 days, the room was cleaned once and we were really satisfied, however, when we asked for cleaning again, the room was not cleaned, even though we kept the cleaning light on for 2 days in a row without stopping, which we are extremely disappointed with. When we talk about the noise in the hotel, if you come to this hotel, don't expect to sleep. For 9 nights, 4 nights we almost didn't close our eyes because of the noise of both the guests and the surrounding residents. It is also very important to mention that on the first night we went to complain to the hotel guard, who told us that in the morning we could change the room, which was not the reason for our complaint at all, so we had to quiet the guests ourselves because there was noise until about 4-5 in the morning. At the reception, regarding the noise, they only told us that the hotel security would solve it and that the hotel guests were not making the noise at all, which is still incomprehensible to us. However, the next night he also didn't react to the noise, which is extremely disappointing.
