I stayed at Flora Maria Hotel in Ayia Napa from 3–10 August 2025, and my experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. When I first checked in, I had to wait three hours because my room was not ready or cleaned properly, which was unprofessional. During my stay, I was physically attacked by my ex-partner in my room, witnessed by a staff member, and the police were called. My ex-partner was asked to leave immediately. Despite this serious incident, the manager, Linda, showed no concern for my safety or wellbeing. After the incident, Linda told me I could stay for the remaining days of my booking, but that I could not extend my stay further. When I had one day left, I asked the same staff member who had witnessed the attack if I could extend my stay, and he told me I could. The following day, Linda shouted at me aggressively, demanded I cancel my booking immediately, and promised I would receive a refund within 48 hours. I had two witnesses, yet the refund was never issued. When I later contacted the hotel, Linda denied everything and accused me of lying, despite witness testimony. I also overheard Linda instructing her staff to mislead other guests. When two women asked to extend their stay, she told them not to book on Booking.com and that they would have to pay at reception. After they walked away, she told staff to say the hotel was fully booked if anyone asked to extend, which is dishonest and unprofessional. Linda also appeared very unfriendly and unapproachable, rarely engaging with or welcoming guests. This lack of professionalism made an already difficult experience worse. While some staff were kind and helpful, the manager’s conduct was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this hotel, especially for guests in vulnerable situations.

I wouldn't say this is the nicest hotel I have stayed in but not the worst ,it's a bit tired in a lot of places but the beds are very comfy. Need to lot of work to tidy up a bit but the price reflects in what you get and open out of season which is another bonus

The Manager Linda , 10 out of 10. The facility itself, perfectly allocated. The end of the day, you get what you pay for. It's very, very reasonably priced. So don't expect too much frills, maybe not even an elevator. But what you're getting is a safe place, safe, managed by good management in the perfect location for unbelievable value. In Europe, this has got to be one of the cheapest accommodations.

Never go there they are scammers. Rooms have insects, smell like chlorine, expensive, no proper cleaning going on, understaffed, leaking ac’s, shower curtains fall apart, the photos are very much embellished compared to real life. Also they don’t refund you after you pay them so just don’t go they are a scam place, let them go into financial ruin and don’t give them a single euro.

extremely bad i do not recommend!! 0/10 hygiene, 0 cleaning services, strong chlorine smell to the point where it was so hard to breathe. faced wayyy too many issues there during my trip, and better not talk about their bathrooms... will never book again
