Information
Nothing compares with a holiday in the serene environment of a village tucked into the hills of Cyprus.
Cyprus Villages offers you the unique opportunity to live in a traditional stone-built village home. Stroll along the narrow cobbled paths to the village square, have a coffee with the locals and settle into an easy-going Mediterranean lifestyle that respects and nurtures timeless traditions. Before you know it, you'll feel part of the local community, enjoying the generous Cypriot hospitality that can be summed up in a single word: "kopiaste" meaning "come and join us"!
Cyprus Villages was established in 1987 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni, Kalavasos and Psematismenos were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.

We stayed a few days in one of the apartments of Tochni Tavern and had the yoga classes they offer. Our teacher Melanie was an absolute gem. All the staff is really nice and try to help wherever necessary. We felt very welcome and at home.

there were 2 adults and 2 children 5 and 7, we were there for 2 nights. Very nice and fabulous place, we had 2 rooms at our disposal. We didn't use the swimming pool because it wasn't the right time. Breakfast was very good, large selection. On the first day there was a water failure in the village and there was no hot water, but on the second day everything was fine. When I checked in around 1 a.m. there was no problem with accommodation. The restaurant was very close and the food was great. A place to repeat on the next visit

What an incredible experience we had during our stay at your charming holiday apartments! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, setting the tone for a memorable getaway.
The authenticity of the Cyprus Villages experience truly stood out. Our apartment was a perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The attention to detail in the decor, coupled with the cozy ambiance, made us feel like we had stepped into a serene retreat. The room was immaculately clean, and the thoughtful touches added a touch of warmth to our stay.
Exploring the surrounding villages was a highlight of our trip. The picturesque landscapes, coupled with the rich cultural heritage, provided a unique and authentic taste of Cyprus. The recommendations from the staff for local activities and dining options were spot-on, allowing us to savor the true essence of the region.
The hospitality we experienced was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their genuine smiles and willingness to assist with any request made us feel like we were part of the Cyprus Villages family.
The amenities, including the well-maintained pool and communal spaces, added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Whether we were lounging by the pool or simply taking in the breathtaking views from our balcony, every moment was a delight.
In conclusion, our stay at Cyprus Villages Traditional Holiday Apartments exceeded our expectations. It was more than just a vacation; it was an immersive experience into the heart of Cyprus's beauty and hospitality. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories in this idyllic setting.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special.
Warm regards,
Andy

We had really high expectations when we visited the hotel because of the reviews. The reviews are misleading and you can confirm this from the added photos.
The room (and generally the hotel) felt deserted. Poor facilities, warm water for 3 minutes. While we didn’t expected to find luxurious rooms, some basic staff should work properly.
Obviously the hotel needs a good maintenance.
Not recommend 🤷🏽♀️

Hidden gem. Quiet, unique, beautiful. Incredible value for the price - you get a rustic stone suite and courtyard all to yourself, AC, kitchenette, access to the pool, bike rental close by, and one of the best free breakfasts we've ever had! The attached restaurant is worth the stay alone, easily the best meal we had in Cyprus. The staff couldnt have been more generous and helpful. Thank you so much!
