Information
Cyprus Villages Agrotourism provides traditional hotel holiday apartments in Cyprus since 1988.
Cyprus Villages offers you the unique opportunity to live in a traditional stone-built village home. Stroll along the narrow cobbled paths to the village square, have a coffee with the locals and settle into an easy-going Mediterranean lifestyle that respects and nurtures timeless traditions.
Cyprus Villages was established in 1988 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni, Kalavasos and Psematismenos were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.

I recently stayed here during a business trip to Cyprus, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I received an exceptionally warm welcome from the family, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as enjoyable as possible.
This hotel offers a rare moment of calm in an otherwise busy world. Situated in a quiet and tranquil village, it is easily accessible from major cities and tourist attractions.
My room was immaculate, with fresh linen and thoughtful touches that made me feel truly at home. The public areas were equally well-maintained, and it’s evident that the family continue to maintain the property to a high standard with recent renovations apparent and appreciated.
Although I didn’t use the swimming pools, they looked great, and I can imagine they would be incredibly refreshing during the hot summer days. Both pools were very well-maintained and spotlessly clean.
Dining at the on-site restaurant, Tochni Tavern, was one of the highlights of my trip. The menu featured a range of delicious local dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and authentic flavours, alongside a fantastic selection of freshly made pasta. Each meal was a joy, not only because of the quality of the food but also due to the charming environment and the warm, friendly service provided by the staff.
This family-run hotel is far more than just a place to stay—it’s a home away from home. The care, attention to detail, and dedication to hospitality are clear in every aspect of the experience. I wish this wonderful family every success as they continue to welcome guests from around the world to their peaceful and relaxing retreat. I very much look forward to staying here again on future visits to Cyprus. Thank you.
I stayed here for a week having the yoga package booked. The teachers did their job with their full heart ♥️ as same as the stuff which I had the pleasure to spend time with. There is Nick, Diana, Sahel and all the others.
Especially the included dinner was outstanding and came in huge portions.
Thank you all for the authentic stay I had 🙏🏼

We stopped in at the delightful little restaurant for dinner last week while on holiday in Cyprus for a friend's wedding. The staff, service and quality of food was all absolutely amazing; and very reasonably priced as well! The views from the restaurant were absolutely amazing and the outdoor seating area is beautifully presented with lots of colourful flowers all around to add to the picturesque setting even more! As it was a bit quieter than usual, we got chatting to the owner (the lovely Mr Sofronios) who was an absolutely wonderful host and provided us with some more information about the local history of the villages nearby. I only wish that we could have stayed in their accommodation, so I could leave a review for the rooms too as I'm sure they would match the calibre and quality of the owner and food (and am planning on coming back next year to do just that!).
Thank you so much for a fantastic meal Sofronios, and it was an honour to be introduced to your son as well. I'm sure the restaurant will be in safe hands under his watch, but please don't retire anytime soon!
Look forward to seeing you again soon!

We stayed here for two weeks, and I can only say that they were wonderful. We had a beautifully traditionally restored apartment with great air-conditioning and a private terrace. The staff consists of a lovely, hard-working family that is always happy to help you find what you need during your Holliday. We are very greatfull for their friendliness and hospitality.
It’s a wonderful place for vacation. We stayed there for 8 days and everything was perfect. The houses are very cozy, everything is clean. The view you have from the balcony is great, you can see the ocean and the beautiful landscape. The residence also has a pool with beautiful flowers around.
The staff is so friendly and helpful.
I definitely can recommend this destination!
