A True Hidden Gem in Cyprus 🇨🇾 To anyone visiting Cyprus, I can’t recommend this beautiful hotel village in Tochni enough! From the moment you arrive, you feel completely immersed in local life, it’s not just a place to stay, it’s an experience that lets you live and breathe authentic Cypriot culture. Forget the typical tourist-style resorts; this charming village offers something far more genuine and special. Food: The restaurant is absolutely incredible! Every meal was bursting with flavor, offering a wide variety of traditional Cypriot dishes. Whether you prefer to stick to familiar favorites or dive into the local cuisine, there’s truly something for everyone, and every bite tastes homemade and full of love. Accommodation: We traveled as a group of 10 family members, and we had our own houses, complete with spacious rooms and fully equipped kitchens. It was the perfect setup, private, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Location: Tochni is ideally situated in the lower center of Cyprus, making it easy to explore the entire island. One day you can be in Paphos, the next in Ayia Napa, everything is within reach. Plus, there are stunning beaches nearby that make day trips even more enjoyable. Staff: And finally, the people here truly make the place shine. The staff are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The owner (we took a selfie with him, we loved him so much 😆) in particular goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home and ensures your stay is nothing short of perfect. Our stay at Cyprus Villages and dining experience at Tochni Tavern were nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, Sotronis and his wonderful team welcomed us with warmth and genuine hospitality, creating a true sense of family and belonging. Our villa was immaculately clean, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views over the charming village and surrounding hills. Each morning, our walk to breakfast through the peaceful stone paths was a highlight — a simple yet memorable ritual that made us feel part of the village rhythm. Breakfasts and dinners on the tavern's terrace were unforgettable — a perfect mix of delicious, authentic Cypriot cuisine and the serene beauty of the setting. Sofronis even surprised us with a special new menu dish, which was absolutely delightful and full of flavour. It's rare to find a place that captures the true heart of Cyprus the way Tochni does. Between the stunning views, the spotless accommodations, and the heartfelt hospitality, we left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already eager to return.

My husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay at Tochni Tavern. Upon arrival, we waited a little while to check in as there didn’t appear to be any staff available at first. Once we got someone’s attention, we were kindly offered a complimentary welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. After nearly an hour, we asked again about checking in, and about ten minutes later a lady came over. She wasn’t overly friendly, but she showed us to our room and explained the map of Tochni Tavern. We had a gorgeous meal in the evening — dips, salad, starter, and main — and we opted to take our dessert away with us to enjoy in our room. The waiters were absolutely brilliant throughout dinner: friendly, attentive, and very accommodating, which really made the experience special. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a relaxing night’s stay. Breakfast the following morning was simple but well done, with plenty of choice to cater for all dietary requirements. When we got up to leave, we were greeted by a gentleman who we can only assume was the owner. He asked how our stay had been, told us we were always welcome back, and wished us a pleasant day — a lovely way to end our visit. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Tochni Tavern and would highly recommend it. We would most definitely stay again!

We had a truly perfect stay at Myro House. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed. The owner and all the staff are unbelievably kind and warm-hearted, making us feel at home right away. The accommodation itself is beautiful, a charming Cypriot house with so much character. Everything was spotless, the beds were soft and very comfortable, and the atmosphere was simply relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Cyprus Villages is a place we would return to in a heartbeat, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Cypriot charm and genuine hospitality.

This is not a traditional hotel, but rather a village resort. Upon our arrival, we were initially surprised as we had expected a standard hotel experience. The taxi driver was unfamiliar with the location, dropping us off at a parking lot where the surroundings appeared undeveloped. After some confusion, a local helped us find the reception, which turned out to be a small office. We were asked to wait for our room in an outdoor area without air conditioning and were told our room was a 10-minute walk away. As we were traveling with two children and four suitcases, we were close to canceling. Fortunately, the manager intervened. He was exceptionally kind and dedicated to improving our experience. Within ten minutes, he secured a different room for us directly next to the swimming pool. The room was beautiful—a unique, Greek-style apartment with an excellent view and a convenient location. The staff throughout our stay were all very kind. I highly recommend this resort, but it's important to set your expectations accordingly and not expect a traditional hotel.
