Information
Cyprus Villages Agrotourism provides traditional hotel holiday apartments in Cyprus since 1988.
Cyprus Villages offers you the unique opportunity to live in a traditional stone-built village home. Stroll along the narrow cobbled paths to the village square, have a coffee with the locals and settle into an easy-going Mediterranean lifestyle that respects and nurtures timeless traditions.
Cyprus Villages was established in 1988 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni, Kalavasos and Psematismenos were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.

We had a fantastic time. The description of the village of Tochni and the Tochni Tavern with its agrotourism-based apartments immediately raised our interest. Our expectations of this picturesque, very typically Cypriot place, and especially of the tavern, our accommodation, and the Cypriot food, were even exceeded.
Our apartment was very clean and comfortable, with comfortable beds, modern bathroom facilities, and was accessible via a typically Cypriot courtyard decorated with flowers. The tavern was, as described, only a 5-minute walk away.
The Tochni Tavern and its apartments are a family business which is run in a very family atmosphere. The tavern's decor is extremely cozy, with a stunning view of Tochni. The breakfast was fantastic, very varied, with many Cypriot specialties and always a new surprise.
The hotel staff was always friendly, courteous, and helpful, whether at the reception or in the restaurant.
The location of Tochni is perfect for exploring the the north, east, and west of the island with a rental car and beaches can be reached in about 10km distance.
We received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable throughout and can only recommend a stay at Cyprus Villages!
Many thanks to the Potamitis family and the entire team of the Tochni Taverne for this unforgettable stay. We would love to come back!

We were a group of 12 people and ended up at this place without planning — and it turned out to be amazing! The owner was incredibly kind and generous, and really made us feel welcome.
The food was delicious, and the view from the pool was beautiful. It’s not in Larnaca or Limassol, but it’s only about 20 minutes from the airport, so still easy to reach.
If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing place to spend a day or two, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!
Such a quaint and beautiful hotel. Very happy we picked to start our Cyprus trip here.
The warm welcome given by Nikitas and his kindness and professionalism was truly impressive. We were so happy with the room he gave us & he made sure we were settled & content.
The setting and rooms were charming, beds comfortable & everything you need catered for. Half board dinner was delicious with plenty of vegetarian options.
Breakfast was also plentiful. My only comment would be it would be nice if the food was labelled in the breakfast buffet to prevent wastage and state clearly if it was suitable for vegetarians.
Overall it was a lovely stay & I would definitely return here

Hosting my wellbeing retreat with yoga and sound baths at Cyprus Villages in Tochni was like finding a second home. The team welcomed me and my group with such warmth—Nikita, with his radiant smile, helped me set up a projector for our workshop sessions in the conference room while Angela shared tips about a quiet beach nearby and local attractions. Their kindness made me feel like part of their family, easing every worry as a retreat host.
I was blown away by how this place keeps getting better. The apartments, freshly renovated, felt like cozy nests. What truly stole my heart, though, was their dog-friendly policy. The tavern’s food was a love letter to Cyprus, with vibrant salads and generous portions of main meal dishes that had my group leaving with great memories. Not one complaint about the rooms or meals, just pure contentment.
I’ve already booked my next retreat here because this place feels like magic for wellness journeys. Thank you, Cyprus Villages, for giving me and my guests a space to heal, connect, and dream—I’m already counting the days back!
