Information
Cyprus Villages Agrotourism provides traditional hotel holiday apartments in Cyprus since 1988.
Cyprus Villages offers you the unique opportunity to live in a traditional stone-built village home. Stroll along the narrow cobbled paths to the village square, have a coffee with the locals and settle into an easy-going Mediterranean lifestyle that respects and nurtures timeless traditions.
Cyprus Villages was established in 1988 by Sofronis Potamitis, in an effort to revive rural communities and preserve the traditional houses of bygone days. With loving care, several abandoned family houses in the villages of Tochni, Kalavasos and Psematismenos were thoroughly renovated to provide comfort without sacrificing their original, rustic character and are all licensed by the Cyprus Tourism Organization.

Everything was perfect!
We spent 3 nights there and enjoy every bit of it! Ideally located if you have a car, you will be able to visit the main less touristy locations in Cyprus. The food is really good.
It also has an amazing yoga center to enjoy daily morning yoga classes. I can only recommend

We had a wonderful time in Tochni hotel. The hospitality is warm and kind, with small details in mind.
We loved the fact that it is a family/community business, and felt that our needs are highly respected.
The rooms are cosy, the food is great, the pool is very pleasant (not big, but very inviting).
We were a family of five, and everyone enjoyed. We will come back, for sure!
A truly special place to stay. The stone cottages are charming, romantic and full of character - exactly what you'd hope for from a traditional Cypriot village accommodation. Our room overlooked the village and the beautiful church, which adds a layer of history that's hard to put into words. The church itself dates back to the visit of Empress Helena, mother of Constantine I, who passed through on her return from the Holy Land - a reminder that this corner of Cyprus has been drawing travellers for well over a thousand years.
Tochni itself is one of those rare villages that feels completely untouched by mass tourism. Narrow stone streets, cats dozing in the sun, locals going about their day - it's the authentic Cyprus that's becoming harder and harder to find. Staying here rather than on the coast was one of the best decisions we made on this trip.
The agritourism concept works beautifully in this setting. You're close enough to Limassol and Paphos to explore the island, but far enough away to actually disconnect. If you're looking for something more intimate and meaningful than a standard hotel, this is it. We'd come back without hesitation.

We stayed in one of the Danae house apartments late March 26 and had a lovely holiday. It was our birthday break and we were very spoilt, thank you so much. Each apartment is different in lay out, we stayed in 5. The bed was very comfortable and shower was hot and powerful, the shutters block the light well for the bedroom. There was air con and heating, the small pool isnt heated so we didn't use it but it was lovely to sit on the terrace in the evenings. There is not a tv. Wifi was strong. The kitchen equipment is basic but we just asked and got what we needed to make basic meals. The owner was very responsive and staff in the tavern were lovely, everyone was very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Amazing breakfasts were served in the tavern and were vaired everyday. The tavern also served lovely meals and got very busy on the weekend evenings. Theres a larger pool at the tavern. The location was a great base to drive around the island from but you really need a car for a longer stay. There's a main supermarket a short drive away. The views from the tavern area were beautiful. Google maps doesn't take you a direct route but its well signposted from the village so trust the signs over the map. There's plenty of parking at the tavern which is next to Danae house. It is a quiet area. Overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Cyprus Villages. Location was wonderful and right in the heart of Tochni (our favorite village). There was plenty of parking available for our car (I would strongly recommend renting a car to stay here and for Cyprus in general). The room itself was comfortable with a separate kitchen and breakfast each morning was wonderful. The owner and staff were fantastic - we were also able to purchase some local olive oil and honey at the hotel to share with our friends and family back home. If you're looking for a relaxed, non-touristy stay with wonderful hospitality, I would highly recommend staying here!
