The Alva Hotel Apartments are situated in the heart of Protaras, on the main coast road, 200 meters away from Fig Tree Bay, one of the most famous beaches in Cyprus.
The Alva Hotel Apartments' rooms include a balcony, a kitchenette with a microwave, and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a separate seating and dining area as well.
The Alva offers an outdoor pool as well as a children's pool, both surrounded by sun loungers. Guests can enjoy drinks and sandwiches in the pool bar, overlooking the verdant garden and waterfall, after going for a dip.
There are special dishes for children available at the restaurant, as well as an indoor play area and video games. On request, high chairs are available.
The Alva Hotel also provides massages and relaxation therapies done by the hotel's masseuses. There is also a beauty salon on the premises.

Right on proteras strip. Quiet apartments very clean and spacious. Handy to the bars and restaurants. With the doors to the balcony closed you hear no noise from outside. Staff really nice and friendly. The cleaner left our room spotless each day. Would definitely stay here again. There's a lift to take you to all floors and a carpark for the guests with rental cars also an outdoor tennis court

Staying in Alva Hotel was really great. Location, Atmosphere, Quality of rooms are great. Cleaning stuff, reception ladies were so helpful and carefull, I want to thank them from all my heart! The two only disadvantages were: noise from the main street and breakfast. Breakfast was little bit poor, coffee machine was dirty, ham looked really bad so I had to bring my own groceries with me.. Although the breakfast waiter was cute and smiled all the time.

Just spent 6 nights in the Alva. Room only. Family of 4. Loved everything about this place. Especially the location. Your located at the bottom of the strip and an easy walk to fig tree bay. Beds comfy. Air con superb. Pool was just what you needed. Service was really good. Receptionists very friendly and helpful. Cleaners do a Fantastic job and also very friendly. Would 100% return in the future and recommend to others.

**Review for Alva Hotel Apartments at Portatas**
We recently stayed at the Alva Hotel Apartments in Portatas and rated our experience 3 out of 5 stars.
**Pros:**
The standout feature of Alva Hotel Apartments is its incredible location. Situated just in front of the stunning Fig Tree Beach, it offers easy access to one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located right on the Main Street, only 100 meters from a variety of fantastic restaurants, a Starbucks, and a taxi station, making it easy to explore the local area.
**Cons:**
Unfortunately, the service in the rooms left much to be desired. The cleaning was quite basic, with no replacement of shampoo or other toiletries during our stay. While the staff were kind, their service did not meet our expectations in terms of generosity and attentiveness. Additionally, during check-in, we were informed that we had been upgraded, only to find that our room was actually quite basic with a view of a parking lot rather than anything more appealing.
**Overall:**
Our experience at Alva Hotel Apartments was mixed. The prime location is a major plus, offering convenience and beautiful scenery. However, improvements in room service and a more accurate representation of room upgrades would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
We hope that the management can address these issues to make future stays more enjoyable for all guests.

This hotel is absolutely brilliant, we stayed 1st to 8th June in a suite, half board. Our room was lovely overlooking the pool, (room 303). We had clean towels every day and it was spotless, in fact all the public spaces were the same, so so clean. All the staff were so nice, they couldn't do enough for you. Food was excellent, couldn't fault it, pizzas are to die for, and ice cream amazing, both the best I have ever had. Chris and his brother who run the restaurant, together with their staff made sure we were well looked after, nothing was too much trouble, giving us complimentary wine twice. First time in a long time I didn't really to come home. For a 3 star hotel, it's up there with the best.

The complex is made up of two buildings, containing a total of 85 spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean Studios, 1 Bedroom Apartments and Deluxe Suites. These relaxing, self-catering apartments are ideal for both families and couples.
Studio
There are 12 Studios, all of which can accommodate from 1 to 3 persons. The Studios are fully furnished with twin beds and an extra fold up bed for a 3rd person.
One Bedroom Apartments
All 49 One-Bedroom Apartments can accommodate 2 to 4 persons and have a separate bedroom with twin beds and a living room which features a sofa bed suitable for a 3rd person and a fold-up bed for a 4th person.
Suites
Alva has just acquired 24 brand new Suites. These Suites have been designed to meet the needs of the modern and demanding traveller. Contemporary in style, yet classic in its feel. Materials have been chosen to make one feel relaxed and at ease. Natural colours and stylish furnishings create a calm and relaxing atmosphere.The Alva Suites are suitable for couples or small families. The fully equipped kitchenette comes as a bonus offering a more comfortable stay.

Alva´s Cafe Parko is one of the best Bar-Restaurants, in Protaras and is popular with locals as well as tourists. The Cafe Parko is open-aired and is set in a beautiful romantic garden offering local and international cuisine.
