We booked our rooms through Booking.com. One of the rooms was for 2 adults and 2 children (requested one cot for each). Our check in for that room was delayed for over one hour and when we were actually able to check into our room, we found out the room was on the second floor, 4 flights of narrow stairs and no lift. This could have been better managed by the hotel, which would have improved our experience. Food is decent, and service is good, although reception could be improved. One important thing is the deck around the rectangular pool, that needs serious improvement/repair for safety reasons.
This is definitely a child friendly hotel.
The entertainment team are what make this hotel better.
Ryan and his team are great, Jessie was always polite and great to talk to, she brought out the kid’s confidence, Lambrie was welcoming and always had a smile on her face.
Food was nice, large verity just needs to be served a little hotter in temperature.
Hotel has a lovely view from the stage balcony area.
Is good walking distance to other places outside the hotel, felt very safe at all times.
Just could do with a deep clean and a more welcoming feeling from the start.
I’m a regular guest of other Louis hotels within Cyprus which have the same star rating where I have been welcomed so highly, that by the end of my holiday it felt like leaving family behind.
On that note i personally think the Louis Althea beach hotel definitely has room for improvement and could learn a thing or two.

Nice and cosy hotel with a good and healthy variety of food in the restaurant.
The evening entertainment is splendid. Great shout out to the super friendly team and great involvement with events for big and small troughout the day. 👏🏻

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing throughout our visit, always kind and helpful. They even extended our stay after our flight was delayed, which we really appreciated. The hotel is in a great location close to a beautiful beach. Highly recommended!
First of all, I would like to emphasise that Cyprus is safe — Please don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful paradise.
Louis Althea Hotel was the perfect choice for our family. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the apartments are spacious, the food is excellent, and the location is amazing. However, the true stars of the show are the people.
The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful individuals. A special thanks to George from the bar — a huge Brazilian football fan — we had such great conversations with him.
The entertainment team are simply the best! Ryan is a truly talented performer and fantastic with the children. The rest of the team were equally amazing — Anneli from Norway, the Albanian girl, the French singer, Thomas from Germany, and Lola.
My son had so much fun, made lots of friends, and had an unforgettable experience.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon.
