All in all we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the facilities such as pool and to have access to two beaches was great. One is less busy, but the other one is nicer for swimming and is lively with a beach bar for snacks and Ice coffee.
A huge thank you to Antonia, the Front Office Manager, who is very lovely and super helpful. Also Maria at the restaurant gives you a warm welcome with a smile. Of course a thank you to everyone else from the entire team, they work so hard to make it perfect for the rest of us!
Many comments here regarding updates needed, agree, but for the price and what you get, it can be considered fair. Food does get repetitive if you are here over a week, but it really offers a lot of choices. Kids menu always pretty much the same, but again, kids enjoy all of that food.
The only thing that we personally thought was a bit "irritating" was the ongoing music in the evening which was very loud and with a base. Anyway, one is so tired after a day in the sun and water, so you quickly fall asleep!
Nissi Beach close by is also nice to visit, other than that, not too much around, one would have to go to Ayia Napa center if you want a change of scene. We would definitely book again!

Loved it here. Lovely pool and so close to the beach it's really easy to get to and from there. I would stay again for sure. The beds could do with being upgraded slightly but all in all no issues!

Overall a nice hotel, but i wouldn’t call it 4 stars. I have stopped at a lot better 4* hotels abroad than this which offered much nicer experiences.
Food is adequate for the most part, not a huge amount of choice. What was out was tasty and of good quality, but mostly the same each night, there never seemed to be too much that differed unfortunately between each might. The 3 themed restaurants were lacking too. Just a set menu basically that comes out as sharing plates for the table. Other 4* hotels I’ve stayed at with themed restaurants have had LOTS of choice and offered a much higher class experience. However what can be said is all of the waiters / waitresses are VERY polite, attentive when needed but also don’t crowd over you whilst you are trying to enjoy your food, not a bad word can be said about them.
Pools were superb, nothing bad to say about those as they were kept clean and tidy by the maintenance staff. They are fairly warm, certainly not cold by any means but also after laying in the 35° heat for a few hours it would cool you off nicely.
We mostly stayed around the kids pool side as we have a 3 year old and we liked that pool best with the sloping shallow end for him.
But the main adult pool around the other side of the hotel was also just as good and featured a shallower end to it, with a small square shallow kids pool next to it.
The room…. Sadly this is where my main gripe comes. The room as a whole was poor, we specifically paid for a “family room” so that we had the shutter to partition the one bed off from the main side so that my 3 year old had his own space and wouldnt be able to hear other noises waking him up once he had gone to bed. The partition was broken in multiple places. It did not align up correctly with the lock end and i had to forcefully open it due to how badly it was falling off its roller system at the top which would then make a hell of a racket each morning and night.
The wall paper decor was peeling off the walls in multiple places. The white cupboard sides were damaged and laminating in multiple places too.

The adult main bed was fine however the bed for my 3 year old was just a sofa that had been made into a bed BUT it was bowed towards the end of it and it dipped in the middle width ways too, luckily our boy is only 3 years old and small so he slept sideways at the top on the sofa part or this bed would of been totally unacceptable!! Disgusting to find they thought that was acceptable to be honest - room number 145.
(Another party in our group had a family room with a single bed in it as the spare bed so why did ours not have one? strange).
Reception staff, most were polite. However the older gentleman with grey hair was RUDE on more than 1 occasion towards us, he made me wait whilst he attended to someone else when i was clearly at reception first - a good 30 seconds before the others. He told me that i had to change my themed restaurant booking to another time due to our party size (12 people) about 6 hours before the booking even though nobody else was booked in at that time when i booked it and the person on reception when i booked it had no issue with it. So it only became an issue when someone else booked one of the other tables at the same time slot as me later on. But then he decided that i was the one who had to change my booking and not the smaller party who had booked in after me!
After going back and forth with me for 5 minutes he backed down when he realised that we were one of the wedding parties at the hotel and our family had spend a LOT of money to have a wedding on site - he needs a lesson in customer service!
Contrary to the elderly gentleman there was a young blonde lady on reception at times who was very polite, helped me with a few problems and answered any questions i had with a smile and friendly attitude - she needs a promotion.
Overall i would say we enjoyed our stay here, but i would not return to this hotel. I have stopped in far better for a lot less money.

we Booked during the stay for 4 nights at the end of July.
quality/price ration is 4/10
1-we were 2 adults with one infant, they provided a cot for the baby but the sheets were not adequate for the cot.
2-we had a room facing the parking side (land view as per description of the hotel) so the noises were very annoying for the buses at pickups and arriving during morning and nights
3-The cleaning of the room was not good, only some floor clean up, we had to call many time the reception to give use clean towels, toilet paper, additional shower soap...
4-the king size bed (which was two small bed united to one) is not comfortable and the pillows are very small.
5-The reception first was not helpful, we asked for activity list to do in the area, they said they don't provide and we have to talk to the main agency that made the booking, the second team was more flexible and replied more to some of our queries.
6-the kids pool was okey, and the adults pool too, there is not many sunbeds enough relatively how busy the hotel was, though we can still go 20 steps away from the beach and use the towels
7- the towels from the hotel some were very old and show signs of wear.
8- the buffet is international but very basic, some food is national specialty but it was not very tasty though
some of the staff were friendly the other were opposite, the only good thing is the location if interested to be near the sea otherwise it is considered far from the center of Ayia napa and you need between 15euro up to 20 euro per ride for 5 min

This is my third time spending a holiday at this hotel with my now-adult children, and once again, I’m thoroughly impressed by the warm hospitality and genuinely friendly welcome we receive each time. The professionalism and positive attitude of both the management and the entire staff make a lasting impression.
As an emergency clinician working in a high-pressure environment with 13-hour shifts, I truly value a place where I can fully relax and recharge — and this hotel consistently delivers. We recently stayed at a similar resort in Greece, but it did not meet the same standards.
The Dome Beach Hotel continues to stand out as a fantastic destination for families. The range of activities offered is excellent, and they are widely enjoyed not only by my family members but also by many other guests. It's a place we look forward to returning to.
