We had a wonderful getaway for two- The hotel was lovely ,as was our room which faced the beach. The service was attentive and helpful, always with a smile, including the lovely staff in Guest services. We enjoyed the spa and the Gym (pool temperature can be a bit more heated)
Food was great- a wide variety in breakfast, and our dinner experience in the Asian restaurant was very good. Fine dining. It may be better to take half board .
We took a tour to a winery through the hotel. Good wine and good company

The room that I booked on Trip.com was advertised as having a deluxe sea view, but the view was nothing like the photos, so I made a complaint. If you prefer a sea view, please make sure they give you a room above the ground floor; otherwise the view will be completely blocked by the trees. The service was really nice, as they changed my room without any issues. However, some features in the room were a bit outdated.
For example, the tap in the bathroom was heavily stained, the balcony door was broken and could not be closed properly, and the YouTube function on the TV stopped working after we moved rooms.
We could not be bothered to change rooms again, so we did not report this issue. I chose this hotel because I thought it was relatively new, but the TV was not even a smart TV, and the YouTube function relied on the hotel's own system. I also booked this staycation for my birthday and was expecting a small surprise from a 5-star hotel, as they could see my DOB at check-in, but there was nothing. Other 5-star hotels that I have stayed at in the UK have offered some kind of small gesture.
Overall, service & breakfast buffe is 5 stars but the room itself I would only give 4 stars. For the price I paid, I may not come back again as I’m expecting more premium rooms quality.

We stayed at the Amavi Hotel in Cyprus from Christmas Eve to New Year’s Eve and it was the most beautiful place to spend the festive season. The attention to detail, especially around cleanliness was exceptional. Staff were constantly moving through the hotel polishing, dusting and keeping everything immaculate, and it genuinely showed everywhere.
Our bedroom was gorgeous, with a huge balcony overlooking the sea, the kind of view you never get tired of. The restaurants were consistently high standard throughout our stay, and the Christmas Eve celebrations were a real highlight: incredibly well organised from start to finish, with amazing food and a lovely atmosphere.
Most importantly, the staff made the whole experience. Every person we met was helpful, attentive, hospitable, and genuinely funny. Because it’s a smaller hotel it feels unique and friendly, not busy or anonymous, and there’s a real sense of care and pride in what they do. We did have a couple of minor hiccups during the stay, but each time everything was resolved quickly and attentively, which only reinforced how well the hotel is proudly run. We came home feeling truly refreshed. Thank you Tom and Mandy Wright.

The best hotel we have ever stayed at.
Our room was beautiful: fantastic sea view, a little private terrace to enjoy the sunset colours, a large comfy bed and everything very well maintained.
The staff was lovely, friendly and extremely professional. We felt so spoiled!
We do recommend the regular restaurant, everything was delicious there. Not recommending the fine dining restaurant as we didn't have such a great experience there. The cocktails bars (both inside and at the pool) were fantastic - we had so much fun!
Overall we couldn't have picked a better place for our first trip to Cyprus.

We’ve had a lovely 5-nights stay here in the last week of November 2025. Everything was great, rooms were spacious and had all we needed. The facilities at the hotel are all very nice - you also get direct access to a blue flag beach to swim in the sea which was great. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We enjoyed one of the a la carte restaurants and liked it a lot. The staff is incredibly kind and generous. The hotel is also well located for you to explore Paphos archeological sites by foot with a direct promenade walk directly towards it.
I’ve travelled to 60+ countries so far but this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Many thanks for everything.
