This is a beautiful luxurious hotel situated in an ideal location, a short walk from Paphos harbour. The attention to detail and the service by staff was second to none. My husband I stayed there last week with a couple of our friends and none of us could pick fault with anything. Be prepared to be tempted by the most delicious food, as the chefs are amazing! Would we go back….definitely.

I've now stayed at this hotel on three occasions. The Amavi is a modern contemporary, beautifully appointed and incredibly clean hotel. The allocation of sunbeds is a great idea and both the poolside and garden locations are quiet and restful with a call service to the poolside bar. The bedrooms are large, nicely decorated and furnished and with a fully tiled en suite bath/shower which are serviced daily. The rooms also have an evening turn down service which is a nice touch. Control of the lights, A/C, Curtains, etc. from various touch control panels is also a very convenient feature There are four restaurants at the Amavi, a main self service restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and three fine dining (and it really is fine dining) a la carte restaurants, The Nocturne (World Cuisine), The Immenso (Asian Fusion) and the Fortolano (Cypriot Mezzo). All four restaurants serve excellent food with lots of options, enough to suit everyone, regardless of preferences (or allergies which are well managed). Hats off to the chefs and kitchen staff. Outstanding facilities aside, it is the sublime service from all the staff that really stands out. All of the hotel staff that we have met are, without exception, friendly, courteous and professional - a credit to themselves and to the hotel. The service in all of the restaurants is worthy of a special mention - incredibly attentive but without being at all intrusive. The Amavi is an exceptional hotel and without doubt worthy of a 5* rating, beautiful location, well maintained, staffed by lovely people and is perfect for couples seeking a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The attention to detail is clearly noticeable. Absolutely Outstanding. Made for two - nailed it!

In brief The best hotel in Paphos. Staff Helpful, friendly and professional. Rooms Modern yet elegant and stylish. Spotless during our stay. Good sized, go for one of the front sea view rooms. The balcony was very good sized. Push button controls for lights, curtains, room cleaning and 'do not disturb '. Buffet restaurant See separate reviews for speciality restaurants There was a different theme each evening, Italian, French, Oriental, Carvery, Indian etc. This is not a massive hotel so the food choices were adequate rather than expansive. The pattern appeared to be. There were smallish amounts on display for each of the foods which were then topped up regularly rather than having huge amounts sitting out, which is good. The restaurant staff are very helpful and very friendly. Sun Beds The hotel Alex hits sunbeds to you for the duration of your stay which is novel and very welcome. A notable plus is when you get your towels and sunbed covers you also get a small cool bag with 2 water bottles inside! Staff regularly come around with ice lollies fruit drinks for the guests. Each sunbed has a call button for bar staff who appear very quickly after a button is pressed. Entertainment The cocktail bar has live entertainment each evening which is very welcome. Consisting of one or two singers. Prices Prices in the hotel are on a power with the UK with cocktails ranging around €13 to €16 Overall A very stylish and elegant hotel with very friendly staff Which goes out of its way to welcoming you back

I'm currently staying at this resort. Rooms are absolutely beautiful, stunning scenery, amazing private pool. However, with this being a high-end resort, we were informed of 24 hour room service during our 2 night stay. When we downloaded the entire hotel menu, including room information, spa, dining, bars, etc, we reviewed the menus for both the daytime menu and overnight room service menu. When we called at 11:45 pm to order, we were informed of the opposite, stating that there is no overnight menu and only daytime which ended at 11:30. We were also informed upon arrival that if we needed anything to call front desk at any time. At 11:45 there was 1 person working who was unable to assist us AT ALL. Not impressed for the price paid!

A stunning hotel for couples wanting to relax and spend time together. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious and the staff are friendly, polite and extremely helpful. The food choices are so varied and there is enough to cater for all tastes. It is situated on the seafront and there is a path to walk along the seafront to the Harbour within 10-15 minutes. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again.
