Mimosa Beach Hotel is a traditionally built and decorated hotel with a unique beauty and atmosphere.
This three-star hotel sits directly on a small sandy cove overlooking the bay of the islands. The beach is very safe for children and the wider bay is perfect for swimming across. Mimosa Beach is a family run hotel which values personal contact with guests making everyone feel at home immediately.
The bustling town of Protaras is just five minutes drive and about a 30-40 minute walk away, very pleasant in the early evening to cool down after a hot day on the beach or beside the pool.

Great hotel. Very friendly and welcoming staff. They go out of their way to help you. Right on the beach. Great pool. Rooms are great, but not luxury; on the ground floor you can walk out of the large bay window directly to the sea and the pool. You really need a car to get there. Well-supplied buffet for breakfast, lunch and supper. You could not want a better place, especailly for a quiet holiday. A thanks to all staff, especially the man from Nigeria, trained as a nurse, and training to go into the hotel business.
Very basic food we ended up eating out some nights.rooms are ok staff very friendly except for the lesbean life gard who was very rude and grumpy.
Breakfast was far to early finished at 930.hotel is more suitable for old people it was like cocoon!!!
Entertainment was so bad it was funny

My wife and I just returned from a two-week stay at the Mimosa Beach Hotel in Protaras, our first. We chose it because of its high Trip Advisor rating of 4.5*, reasonable price, and excellent location. We stayed half-board and weren't expecting anything special, but the experience exceeded all expectations! The food was top-notch, no worse than in 5-star hotels. It's no wonder so many people have rated this hotel so highly! A menu for the entire two-week stay is available in both the room and the restaurant. Moreover, the dinner dishes were never the same for both weeks, with the exception of the king prawns. The variety of dishes is impressive, and each dish is deliciously prepared. The chefs deserve the highest marks! Everything is delicious; with such a variety, you simply don't know what to order; you want to try everything. The waiters in the restaurant, although young, are very professional. You barely have time to push away an empty plate before it's snatched away by a passing waiter. They're constantly on the move, constantly pacing the room, keeping a close eye on the situation. As a result, there are no tables with dirty dishes; within 1-2 minutes, the table is cleared, set, and ready for other guests. Overall, the hotel has a very friendly atmosphere; all the staff are welcoming and polite, always willing to help. There was none of that awkward feeling you might initially feel in a new place. Many guests and staff greet each other in a friendly manner, calling each other by name, apparently these guests are here before. Next to the restaurant is a swimming pool and a paddling pool for small children, a pool bar, and a small space for evening entertainment. The hotel's entertainment is a bit lackluster; there's live music in the evenings, but the selection is somewhat dated, mostly from the 1950s-70s. The hotel rooms are nice, with excellent showers and modern amenities. The rooms are always clean. They are cleaned daily. Bed linen is changed twice a week, and towels are changed three times a week, but if you need them changed sooner, the friendly cleaning lady will change them all at once. Overall, the entire hotel felt like it was recently built or recently renovated. The hotel itself consists of several small buildings and is located right on the coastline next to a small bay with a sandy beach. Our building is located right next to green lawns with hotel sun loungers and umbrellas, which is very convenient. You need to bring your own towels for the sun loungers. The bay has a small municipal sandy beach with sun loungers and umbrellas. The water in the bay isn't very clear, but after swimming a hundred meters, the water is crystal clear and very warm for 300-500 meters; we didn't go any further. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely come back. I can confidently recommend this hotel to adults and seniors for a great vacation. Teenagers will find it a bit boring, as the hotel doesn't specialize in children's vacations.

It wasn't a holiday, I play bowls there but the location is wonderful, pool, sunbed area with own private beach. The staff are friendly and professional.

Mimosa beach hotel is a fabulous family hotel. The location is good for families with young children and those wanting a quieter location. The rooms were excellent and the food was local and freshly cooked
Rooms
All rooms have hairdryer, mini fridge, TV and air-conditioning included. Air conditioning in all rooms is free and is operated with the key fob.
There is a safe box in every room. The charge is €12 for one week plus a €20 deposit for the key.

Bar
The bar outside by the pool is used on most evenings. You may be unwinding with a cocktail after a day sightseeing, meeting other residents and watching the entertainment, singing or dancing. Occasionally, due to the weather, they may have to use the bar upstairs during the evening. Here you can sit comfortably inside or out on the veranda soaking up the wonderful view.

The restaurant serves buffet breakfast and buffet evening meal. There is a good selection of tasty food but if you have any dietary problems please speak with the chef to be sure of ingredients.
If you prefer to take your main meal during the day you can order from the three course menu in the Pool bar between mid-day and 5pm.

The hotel provides two pools, an adult and a children’s pool. Full safety instructions are posted around the pool area for your own protection. Pools are not in use from 7pm till 7am.
Scuba Diving -Charges Apply
Happy Divers operate from Mimosa Beach Hotel and teach all levels up to and including Instructor with SSI, to Dive Master with PADDI and NAUI.
Mimosa Short Mat Bowls
Mimosa has a Short Mat Bowling Club. They bowl Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and residents are always welcomed to join in on these days.
