Mimosa Beach Hotel is a traditionally built and decorated hotel with a unique beauty and atmosphere.
This three-star hotel sits directly on a small sandy cove overlooking the bay of the islands. The beach is very safe for children and the wider bay is perfect for swimming across. Mimosa Beach is a family run hotel which values personal contact with guests making everyone feel at home immediately.
The bustling town of Protaras is just five minutes drive and about a 30-40 minute walk away, very pleasant in the early evening to cool down after a hot day on the beach or beside the pool.

Very basic food we ended up eating out some nights.rooms are ok staff very friendly except for the lesbean life gard who was very rude and grumpy.
Breakfast was far to early finished at 930.hotel is more suitable for old people it was like cocoon!!!
Entertainment was so bad it was funny

Mimosa beach hotel is a fabulous family hotel. The location is good for families with young children and those wanting a quieter location. The rooms were excellent and the food was local and freshly cooked

I recently stayed at the Mimosa Beach hotel with my partner & Antie’s and had a truly wonderful experience. The pool area was beautifully maintained, with plenty of loungers and a relaxing atmosphere. There was a big pool and small pool for the little ones. The almost private beach was the perfect spot for a morning or afternoon dip which was right on the hotels back door.
The food was another standout. Every meal I had was delicious, from breakfast through to dinner, you also had the option of having the half board menu at lunch if you fancied exploring for dinner. The variety and quality were impressive, and it’s clear the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve.
What really made the stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Every team member I encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Whether it was at check-in, in the restaurant, or around the grounds, they always had a smile and were happy to assist.The hotel is family run and the owners are around most days chatting to guests and eating in the restaurant which is great to see.
We would have loved more of the Aqua aerobics which is only on Tuesdays.
Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Just had a fantastic 2 weeks at the Mimosa Hotel ( Cyprus ) . Room was spotless ,the owners and staff were brilliant , very friendly and nothing was too much trouble . Food was really good didn’t have a bad meal , good variety of bar meals during the day , pool area was nice and relaxing leading to a lovely beach .
We really enjoyed our stay and haven’t got anything negative to say about it , would definitely go back .

What a fantastic hotel and the staff were excellent. They all seemed happy to help and very friendly without being over bearing. Air con in the room was efficient which was much needed as we arrived in a heat wave (every day over 35c). Room was cleaned every day. We paid a little extra for a sea view and it was well worth it. I never heard a sound from neighboring rooms.
Evening meals were varied and delicious. The breakfasts I didn't enjoy quite so much but it was hard to find an appetite at 7 or 8 in the morning when its already over 30 and very humid outside.
The pool was perfectly clean and enjoyable and a literal stones throw from the beach which was excellent for snorkeling (we saw all sorts of fish). Hotel wifi was very good (40mb/s) compared to others I have experienced. Quite enjoyed sitting at the bar in the evening having a drink which wasn't overly expensive.
Its a little out of Protaras so on a hot day you wouldn't want to walk into town (25mins or so). I had a hire car and parking was easy to find wherever we went. Apparently the bus is only €2 but we never used it. However, as it is a little out of town, it was always very quiet and peaceful in the evenings.
There are a few small supermarkets within 10 minutes walk for the essentials. If you want to save a bit of money the Lidl in town is cheap. One thing I wasn't sure about Cyprus was drinking water. I believe the tap water is drinkable (had no effect on me) but if you prefer bottled its very cheap in the shops. A 500ml bottle will cost you like 30 cents. Or you can get 6 1.5L bottles from Lidl for about €1.80. They fit perfectly into the mini fridge that's in the rooms (something I didn't realise was a feature of the rooms until I got there). Sorry if that's all obvious, but it wasn't for me before I went so thought worth mentioning.

All rooms have hairdryer, mini fridge, TV and air-conditioning included. Air conditioning in all rooms is free and is operated with the key fob.
There is a safe box in every room. The charge is €12 for one week plus a €20 deposit for the key.

Bar
The bar outside by the pool is used on most evenings. You may be unwinding with a cocktail after a day sightseeing, meeting other residents and watching the entertainment, singing or dancing. Occasionally, due to the weather, they may have to use the bar upstairs during the evening. Here you can sit comfortably inside or out on the veranda soaking up the wonderful view.

The restaurant serves buffet breakfast and buffet evening meal. There is a good selection of tasty food but if you have any dietary problems please speak with the chef to be sure of ingredients.
If you prefer to take your main meal during the day you can order from the three course menu in the Pool bar between mid-day and 5pm.

The hotel provides two pools, an adult and a children’s pool. Full safety instructions are posted around the pool area for your own protection. Pools are not in use from 7pm till 7am.
Scuba Diving -Charges Apply
Happy Divers operate from Mimosa Beach Hotel and teach all levels up to and including Instructor with SSI, to Dive Master with PADDI and NAUI.
Mimosa Short Mat Bowls
Mimosa has a Short Mat Bowling Club. They bowl Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and residents are always welcomed to join in on these days.
