⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ – A Glorious Return to Cyprus! After more than a decade away from Cyprus — our last visit being to the lively Ayia Napa — we finally made it back, this time to Protaras and the Sunrise Pearl. And let me tell you: it did not disappoint! The hotel was fantastic. We opted for full board, and one of the biggest perks was the option to dine at several affiliated restaurants around town. Great variety, attentive service, and it didn’t feel like the usual buffet monotony. Staff across the board were incredibly tentative and friendly, which really added to the relaxed holiday vibe. Prices for drinks were very fair (always a bonus), and we got lucky with the weather — a glorious 31°C, perfect for long beach days and evening strolls. As someone who’s not exactly a fan of flying, I was relieved that both flights were smooth and uneventful. No turbulence tantrums here. Only one small gripe: the room. We booked a double, but ended up with two separate beds pushed together — not exactly ideal for a couple's getaway. Bit of a letdown there (and a little awkward at times 😅), but nothing that overshadowed the rest of the trip. All in all, a solid 4.5 stars. We’re already talking about doing it again!

Can’t fault this hotel. We stayed for a week in April, on a bed & breakfast basis, and would definitely return. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom and seating area as well as a big terrace with a sea view. The pool and all communal areas were spotless, and the staff cleaned our room thoroughly each morning AND returned each evening with fresh water, towels, chocolates & turned down our beds for us. Breakfast was great, everything was fresh and constantly replenished. Eggs cooked to order by the chefs, with a choice of fried or poached, omelettes, and french toast. Lots of fresh fruit and pastries, plus the usual hot items. Coffees were made by the staff, so better than the usual machines you’d find at a buffet breakfast. The hotel is located on the beach, and in the middle of Protaras strip with a huge selection of restaurants and bars to choose from.

This might just be the best hotel on the entire island of Cyprus. The staff are of an exceptional level and go above and beyond your expectations. The night staff are of an extraordinary high level, especially Peter and Colin who will make sure all of your needs are met to the highest standard. The day staff are truly joyful and extremely knowledgeable and can acknowledge your every request to the best of their ability. This is a truly exceptional hotel of the highest level of excellence and the beds are of a world class standard. The cleaners are of the highest order and will make sure that your room is maintained to an exceptional standard . The barmaid Paula makes you feel like you are at home and has a wonderful knowledge of the high quality level of drinks available. Likeria is the true jewel of the crown. She excels to meet all of your needs and more. Likeria is like having one of your close relatives looking after you while you stay at this outstanding hotel. The restaurants offered by the hotel are of a standard that can only be described as world class and are not to be missed. This is a truly incredible hotel and I highly recommend that you will leave here relaxed and fulfilled. A true gem of Protaras that is not to be missed and I whole heartedly recommend that you make this your go to hotel if you are of a discerning nature and are a lover of outstanding quality. 5 Stars 🌟
