We are currently staying at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience is very disappointing. I don't know what else to do other than adding this comment. The room has serious cleanliness and maintenance issues — the kitchen cabinets smell strongly of mold, the paint on the walls is peeling due to dampness, and the silicone in the bathroom is black and moldy. We are here with children, and having visible mold and such a strong musty smell is simply unacceptable — especially for a place that claims to be a 3-star hotel. It feels unhealthy and poorly maintained. When we asked to change the room, we were offered another one with the same layout — but it also had the same mold smell in the cabinets. The staff did try to address the issue, wiping the mold with a sponge and soap and attempting to fix the silicone around the shower. However, such surface cleaning clearly doesn’t solve the problem. Mold in furniture and walls requires proper treatment, not temporary fixes. Our room is on the first floor, which also makes it inconvenient to carry a baby push chair up and down every day. The staff suggested leaving it near the reception, but that area is not close to our room, so it’s not practical. When we asked if we were the first guests to report such issues — and it’s already the end of the season — we were told yes. Honestly, that’s very hard to believe. Overall, this is far below what anyone would expect from a 3-star hotel. We truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously, especially for families traveling with small children.

Best location for Fig Tree bay and surrounding beaches. Friendly staff, great amenities, supermarket opposite hotel and whatever you need is readily available. Room was street facing with a balcony. Thank you for the anniversary wine! 😎

A Wonderful Stay ⭐️ Thank You to the Entire Team! We had an amazing time at Protaras Plaza Hotel. The hotel was fantastic, our room was spacious and offered a breathtaking view that made every morning special. Everything went smoothly, and the whole experience was made even better thanks to Ewa at the front desk, who was always smiling, attentive, and truly caring from start to finish. A big thank you as well to Cassiopée, the restaurant and buffet waitress, for her kindness and professionalism. We’d also like to sincerely thank Lanise, Andreea, and the entire team at the hotel for making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay. A hotel we would absolutely recommend, we’ll be happy to come back!

We recently stayed at Protaras Plaza Hotel for 8 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, and the facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, always making sure guests feel comfortable and well taken care of. A special mention goes to Andreea, the restaurant manager, who truly made a difference during our stay. Her professionalism, warm attitude, and attention to detail elevated every meal and created a welcoming atmosphere each day. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cyprus. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation so enjoyable!

Fantastic little 3* hotel gives everything they promise. Food was good and fresh, with plenty of it. Breakfast has more than enough on offer for a 3* hotel. I've stayed in 5 * with little extra to show for it. The rooms were great, AC worked a treat. The area and location is perfect, beach to the left the strip with multiple restaurants and bars to the right. The restaurant manager and pool staff were really friendly and helpful, always with a smile. Fantastic holiday
