My wife and I stayed here last month. It was so nice and relaxing there, we didn't even do an excursion. The staff were outstanding, especially the entertainment man and the pool lifeguard. Every member of staff was always happy and couldn't do enough. Lovely clean rooms, and plenty of choice for food. The location is perfect as a bus comes by almost every ten minutes allowing access to many locations. Immaculately clean pool area, and every day we could get a great sun lounger. We also hired a cabana most days which was very reasonable. All in all a fantastic hotel

Stayed here 3 years ago and it was lovely. This time around I don’t know where to begin. Staff are really nice but that’s about it. When you pay £2300 to stay here you’d expect to be able to get a sun lounger, not the case. Apparently anyone is allowed to come into the hotel and use the facilities. You’d expect the spa to be a relaxing place to be, not the case apparently feral children can run riot and scream the place down in the spa. Cleaners…. If that’s what you’d call them… they don’t clean your room they just replace your towels and make an already made bed. Been here a week and our bedsheets haven’t been changed once. The pool is filthy and missing tiles and has holes in the filters at the bottom. Surely half board means you should be allowed 2 of the 3 meals a day not the case we wasn’t told which meals we could have until we went for lunch and was refused lunch because apparently you can only have breakfast and dinner. (Wasn’t told this) I don’t want to go around taking pictures of the problems as it’ll seem a bit weird but there’s many issues. Lights not working in the bathroom tiles in the pool missing aircon never staying on… so many and the allowing people (around 40-50) to use the facilities is insane. I feel this was a wasted holiday we still have a week left but will probably check out and stay elsewhere. Edit. The sunbed situation is out of control everyone just leaves their towels down for the whole day and doesn’t even use them. The pool has so much debris at the bottom it’s insane and the grime around the edges is disgusting. Definitely checking out today and finding a better place for the last few days. Oh yeah there’s been a collection of pretzels on the stairwell for the whole two weeks we’ve been here… cleaners are shocking. So glad we’re leaving now there’s brown crap coming out of the pool. 🤮 This hotel needs shutting down.

Overall, it was a good experience. It is indeed a 4-star hotel. Great location, beautiful view, very quiet area, very clean rooms, friendly staff. Good price. The hotel in general has a pleasant odor. Their breakfast is very good, fresh, and there are plenty of choices. *I was impressed with how clean the highchairs were for the babies. The location has a supermarket, cafe, gelateria, and a pub across the street. Cons: The soundproofing is not the best, but it's okay. You can hear everything from outside the rooms. The cleaning of the rooms wasn't very consistent. The stairs at the play area really need to be fixed. It is a good hotel but there is always room for improvement.

Nice hotel overall. The service is 10/10, always nice and happy workers. Food is more than OK. Variations every day and always finding something you like. Room was nice and was cleaned every day. Everything has potential to be bettet ofcourse. But for the price we paid we was more than happy.

I recently stayed at the Amethyst Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Their warm and welcoming attitude really made a difference. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and felt both comfortable and luxurious. The bathroom was also a great size, with a large shower that added to the overall comfort of the stay. One of the highlights was the fantastic on-site spa, which included a jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. It was such a relaxing space and having access to it whenever you liked made the stay feel even more special. The food each day was always fresh, with plenty of choice, and it was constantly being refilled so there was never any waiting around for anything. Everything was well presented and enjoyable. The beach was also within walking distance, which was a lovely bonus. Overall, the hotel is a beautiful place to stay and is perfect for both families and couples. I would highly recommend the Amethyst Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable getaway.
