I checked out Mike's Kanarium Hotel on my last visit to Cyprus in summer 2025, late May to be precise. I am Vegan so I asked the receptionist if I stayed here on my next visit to Cyprus (possibly September 2025) and to my surprise, he flatly refused! He was blunt and said no! I was a little taken back by this attitude. So I said to my friend, come on, let's go! So, Mike's Kanarium Hotel, please can you reconsider your approach (and attitude!) to #Vegan food, which is very easy to prepare - I wasn't expecting anything fancy. Salads, Beans/Pulses, potatoes, pasta, vegetable burgers, vegetables, rice, etc. A professional chef can make vegan food, you just have to ask them! Besides, Cyprus also is a Greek Orthodox Country (at least in the South) and they fast quite alot, especially prior to Orthodox Easter, so any Orthodox visitors to the island and #Vegan patrons would be missing out. There are #Vegan visitors to Cyprus that need catering for! There is no need for this attitude on reception either and the guy was not welcoming or apologetic. This is not how you do business and shame on you! So I have had to knock the stars down for the poor attitude shown. If they had been more welcoming, it would be a different story. So I would not recommend staying here if you are Vegan, perhaps not if you are Vegetarian either. Fine for meat eaters perhaps. No-no from me!

Excellent little city hotel. Stayed here for one night in transit and had a clean, cozy and spacious room with a nice balcony. Location is very central, there's easy parking, breakfast was fantastic and staff were very nice. Look no further.

Stayed a couple of nights in January. Positives: - Clean room, good size. -Very convenient location, easy access on foot to the centre and straightforward drive from the airport. -Free parking just around the block from the hotel (outdoors). Improvement needed: -Room walls are truly thin, you can hear everything going on in the corridors as well as your neighbours. -Shower thermostat not working, water temperature kept jumping from very cold to very hot. -It appears that the bar plays live music on certain night until midnight, you can easily hear the music from the room. ***Unpleasant experience at check in (late at night) with a drunk man marauding the Reception and bar (not a guest, but inside the hotel)...

Fantastic hotel. In a quiet part of Larnaca city center. 6minutes from Finikoudes beach. Close to the bus stop 425 from the airport, as well as to Mekenzie beach. The rooms are clean, tidy, air conditioning works well. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The food is perfect. The dinner is so good that you will keep eating even when you are full. I would recommend it to everyone, and I will happy to come again.

This is a nice and clean hotel. It is located 7 minutes walk from the center. So it’s a quiet place. 6 minutes from the beach. You might think it is a disadvantage but many places near the beach suffer from the noise of the nearby restaurants and bars. So the location is actually an advantage. Breakfast is nice and rather nice (eggs, sausage, bacon, jam, cheese variety, cold meats, pastries, small salad). Room is clean and convenient. Beds are comfortable. Service in reception is very good. She even ordered a taxi to the airport that was cheaper. We loved this place.
