If I could give one star I would , I will say the day time staff here are lovely but the night staff and rude and aggressive not only that the rooms are filthy and they are infested with ants the beds have stains all over them and they are so uncomfortable I spent my birthday here and it was the worse experience I have ever had on holiday - DO NOT BOOK HERE YOU WILL BE HEARTBROKEN

I stayed here for 4 nights recently whilst attending a friend's wedding in the area. The hotel itself actually reminded me of the inbetweeners hotel. When checking in, the man on reception was not very helpful, I was a solo female traveller with a large case and was sent to the end apartment, top floor, no lift, pitch black (there is no lighting of a night) and he just pointed to the room and said that's where you are, gave me a key and walked off. The room was extremely old-fashioned and outdated. Beds uncomfortable, the room keys were old fashioned and you had to take the key out of the door in order to put the electric on. I did not find this particularly safe, especially when 1 morning someone unlocked the door and walked straight in (I'm guessing it was the cleaner) not even an apology, they just closed the door. The only positives I can say is that the location is very good (10 min walk to the main strip of protaras) and it wasn't too bad price wise, but I certainly wouldn't want to stay there again.

This hotel is very run down, the cleaners can barley climb the stairs let alone clean the rooms, it was sad to see older ladies struggle to work, towels and bedding were changed every 2 days, however some towels were stained, shower curtain stained and shower rail very rusty. very dated furniture including the beds, they were rock solid. Way over priced for even a cheap holiday( do not book standard room) I paid near £900 for 11 days, that could give the room a lick of paint and a new shower curtain surely??We asked to change rooms, they didn't say no but the room they were changing me too stank of dirty drains and they told me this is what iv'e booked the rooms are the same. Pool area was ok, bar food very expensive charged €5 for bread and butter to make a chip butty... €2.50 for can of coke, bit extreme as you can buy for 60 cent across the road. We were so tired after our break as the beds were horrendous and couldn't relax in the room. Protaras is a wonderful place but book your hotel wisely.

Would not recommend. We were booked to stay here for 8 nights. We arrived on the first night to find the room was covered in ants all over the bathroom and living area. There was spots of mould all around the bathroom also. We went straight to reception to make them aware of these issues and ask if we could be changed rooms, which we were then told by the man on reception that it was not possible to move as the hotel was fully booked, so they expected us to stay in this disgusting room, they did not offer for it to be cleaned or offer “special cleaning” for ants which they are trying to tell our holiday provider they did. It then resulted in us having to move hotels at our own expense as this hotel was not in anyway trying to make our holiday experience with them enjoyable.

Lovely hotel/apartment complex..nice and quiet, decent size pool, and a separate kids pool. I'm here during the late May half term and haven't had any issues getting a sun lounger which has been mentioned in other reviews.. Obviously I can't speak for other times of the year but there are absolutely loads of loungers and even when it's been busy there are plenty spare. Lovely friendly staff, good selection of food and drinks and a little mini mart at reception selling snacks, alcohol and soft drinks. Good location, central-various beaches within 20-30 minutes walk, plenty of shops and restaurants Basic room but has everything you could need. The only complaint I have is the beds.. I have had to move onto the (worn and dirty) fold out bed on the 2nd night because I just couldn't sleep and my hip bones are literally bruised because of how hard and uncomfortable the mattresses are! I believe they are part way through upgrading all the rooms, so hopefully this won't be an issue for much longer but I'd really recommend replacing the mattresses ASAP!
