Just got back from an Amazing weeks holiday. The hotel , food , staff , the service, all fabulous. Close to the beach. Not an awful lot to do nearby but you can jump on the bus for 2e to the Marina, we also did a day trip to the blue lagoons. The hotel is so nice you don't really need to leave it as you have everything you need & more 😊

After reading some of the reviews of The Atlantica Bay before we visited I was a bit apprehensive about staying here. I even went to TUI to look at alternative hotels but was reassured the hotel was perfect for what we wanted and they weren’t wrong this hotel was amazing.
We got to the hotel after midnight, we were checked in quickly, there was food and drinks available for us if we wanted it.
Our room was nice and comfortable with a queen sized bed and a lovely view of the pools and sea. The room was cleaned everyday to a good standard and a turndown service with a little chocolate which was a lovely touch. There is also pool towels available for use, a free safe, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. There is also a fridge that is filled with water, pop and beer. There was also a bottle of wine for us getting to the hotel.
The pools are of a good size a little cold but when you’re lying in the heat it was nice to help cool down. The staff around the pool are great asking if any drinks, ice creams and cold cloths were needed. There was plenty of sunbeds around both pools. The masseuses from the spa go around asking if you would like a little massage while at the pool which was nice. There’s a few cats around the hotel they’re really friendly and some came and lay on my sunbed with me then just went on their way, I’m not really a cat person but they didn’t bother me being around the hotel.
The restaurant was a good size we sat outside one night again there is cats but the employees moved them along and they weren’t any bother. The food was really nice my husband is really fussy and he managed to eat plenty when we stayed at the hotel to eat. As soon as you’re seated you’re asked if you want a drink and as soon as you’re finished your plates/bowls they’re are removed from the table.
The entertainment team arranged daytime activities, we didn’t take part in these but everyone who did seemed to be enjoy them. The nighttime entertainment wasn’t the best but it was ok for what we wanted out of our holiday there was a couple of singers, silent disco and a saxophonist while we were there.
Something we weren’t told about from the rep is there is a shop around the back of reception which we didn’t see until our last day when we were putting our cases in the luggage room even though she did mention if we needed paracetamol etc there was a pharmacy not far from the hotel but the shop actually sells painkillers.
There is two bus stops outside the hotel one to the marina and one that goes to the mall. There is some restaurants on the sea front or the Chester’s not too far from the hotel, there is also a little shop and pharmacy if needed.
Overall we were really happy with our stay at the Atlantica Bay hotel and will hopefully be booking up again for next year.

I need to make clear before I complete my review that myself and wife did enjoy our holiday but was also so dissapointing and frustrating in so many other ways. Atlantica Bay from 11years ago is not the same hotel today by a long way. There does not seem to be any control of the guests breaking hotel rules.Dress code for the restaurant is non existent where bikini tops were allowed at breakfast, open vests are prevalent at lunch and pool shorts at dinner.Guests were constantly walking in from the pool through the restaurant to the point where they needed to be seated. The pool area had people openly taking drinks across the pool and resting on the sides and one family sat in the jacuzzi by the bar with all their drinks on top of the rocks and eating crisps!!.The evening entertainment is a joke!! 2 nights were silent disco ( for those who don't know putting headphones on and dancing together to music to what you want on and everyone just making a noise) not entertainment to us. Lastly staff, some just seem to not want to be there with no smiles or eye contact again a real shame as others were great!! This is now just the same as any other 4star hotel and we have had a lot better of those too with nothing special going for it which is a real shame as it used to be fabulous!!

I only just got back yesterday from a really amazing week there, the hotel is really beautiful, the food is absolutely amazing, the staff are brilliant and the room was out of this world a superior sea view room if I could I'd be there right now but hopefully will be again soon. Both me and my fiancee have started recommending this place to everyone we know.

We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. Would love to mention the care, friendliness and hospitality from all of the hotel staff. The cleanliness is incredible, wonderful entertainment and food was absolutely outstanding. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday and for allowing us to celebrate Mother’s Day and my mum’s birthday so perfectly.
