The facilities on offer at Makronisos Holiday Village are complemented by the spacious gardens dotted with bougainvillea and tropical palms. Styled like a village, with bungalows set around the stunning pool and restaurant area, everything is close at hand for the perfect holiday.
The attractive accommodation is spacious with beautiful garden views from the balcony or terrace; the perfect place to relax with a glass of something chilled at the end of a day relaxing under the Mediterranean sun.
The pool and restaurant area are the heart of the ‘village’, offering leisure activities including volleyball, football, tennis, as well as a gym; while those who prefer to relax in the sun can opt for a calm-inducing session in the Jacuzzi pool, or unwind in the sauna. Remember it is a 3 star hotel! However, it's very lovely, pool area is great, not too overcrowded, plenty of beds. The staff are very friendly and welcoming!
In a great area 2 beaches within walking distance, buses very regular in to Ayia Napa and Protaras. Very cheap aswell and only a 2 minute walk to bus stop.
Few local restaurants and bars close by which serve lovely food.
Only downside is that our room wasn't very clean and we were there for 10 days and the floor was not cleaned once. Beds changed and clean towels most days if not every other. But they do need to clean better that's why given 4 stars. But overall very good hotel and stay. Would return.

Fantastic place to stay. Good sized rooms, big swimming pool and great staff. Food was really good and excellent prices. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

Staff are super friendly and helpful (we had an issue with the air-conditioning, but it was dealt with before we even got back to the room!) Room had everything you need for a self catering holiday, cleaning ladies were amazing! Pool area was a good size and not over crowded, I did find that there wasn't a slide as advertised and also one lifeguard in particular was around but not paying attention and children were climbing rocks (when stated not too) which was concerning!! Food at the bar was fantastic, and the mini market on site was great value for money. Disappointed that there weren't any activities for children to do in the day or no evening entertainment (glad we didn't go all-inclusive)
We had a nice stay, but I would say it's definitely a basic complex to stay on, but had most things for a nice stay.

In general, the hotel is not bad. Depends on what your expectations are? It has both pros and cons in my opinion.The good thing is that there is a large room and a fully equipped kitchen. You can cook whatever you want. Comfortable room with a large balcony. Nice staff. nice pool.
But quite far from the road. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the hotel room. Beaches are also far away. It takes 30 minutes to walk to Landa Beach. It is also far from the center of Ayanapa. The harbor is far away. If you just want to stay in a hotel, that's fine, but if you want to see Ayia Napa and don't want to spend a lot of time walking or taking a bus, then this is not the hotel for you.

Visited here at the end of May 2024.
The rooms were very clean and well equipped.
The gardens were well kept and the pool area was clean and tidy.
The people on the front desk were very polite and helpful with some queries I had regarding local transport.
I would definitely book a stay here again if I was to visit Cyprus.

A conversation rarely takes place without a strong Cyprus coffee, a glass of locally produced Keo beer or Zivania("firewater" - the strongest of all Cyprus drinks) being offered, customarily accompanied by a glass of water and a small snack.
